Just going by personal experience. I attended the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg for two years and correspond (mostly eavesdrop) with about twenty guys on Whatsapp almost daily. I also have about fifty Canadians on my facebook. So I'm just going by what I see and hear from them in conversations. I haven't been following the media closely, just talking to regular Canadian folk that I know.
I personally only know two Canucks that openly support the truckers. One is a 9-11 conspiracy guy (good dude though) and the other has been a cop in Texas for 25 years. I may know a few more but they have been quiet about it. Keep in mind, Manitoba is a very conservative part of Canada.
What I find interesting about this whole story is the people I see on social media going on about this are the Conservative Americans. But then again, Americans are far more politically opinionated on social media than other nationalities, for whatever reason.

The liberal party in their parliament formed a coalition with the socialist party, Quebec party, and I think one more. There are something like 6 parties in thier parliament at the moment. The conservatives are the minority party or second largest party but could form a coalition to oust the pm. Trudope is the result of that, but the coalition is starting to fray. Canadian politics are fun to watch much like Britain's. In fact they are almost exactly alike. He.may earn himself a vote of no confidence.
