No not that I have heard. But they're very talented and Connor will probably be sitting with Barr being a 197 now and Cole needs to put on some size still. They could very well stay and wait there turn. No doubt Penn st goes after a portal HWT. Taye from Campbell has 1 more year and will be the guy everyone looking for a HWT will want. Michigan,Oklahoma st , Penn st and Rutgers will all need a HWT. Doucet is back so maybe Oklahoma St doesn't try as hard who knows

Doucet is someone I'm really worried about. DT visibly was little upset with doucet against AirForce. I'm wondering whats DT plan for Doucet with HWT clearing at the top next year with top 3 leaving.
Doucet will 100% be AA guy at worst. But if can improve on his offense even a little bit, he can easily be in top 3 next year.

Well yeah. When guys transfer to OSU it’s because they love the program’s history and it has nothing to do with money. Hell, they would all probably PAY for the privilege of wrestling in the orange and black if asked. Totally unlike those sellout mercenaries in Iowa City.

When PSU doesn't get someone its for two reasons 1) they didnt want them anyway and 2) the recruit chose the $$$ over the promised land that is PSU lol

The other big schools aren't just snatching guys, or it doesn't look like they are. Given, ASU cutting their RTC made some easy targets...but I am not sure the RTC at Iowa is a draw? Buchanon, well, that was just a tad weird...but then again, uO isnt doing themselves any favors with how they're doing their Program.
But yeah, OSU doesn't do this stuff.

When 3rd parties reach out and say a kid is looking or unhappy then conversations are going to happen. Once again… not the same as calling an AA and paying him to enter the portal

You also get most of your info from Iowa sources and on at least a couple instances you seem to have used your credibility to mislead imo. I know of one instance for sure where you said you got info from both sides but one of those sides didn’t share that same story.

I'm disappointed that both Iowa and OSU are going after and paying for transfers. You guys are ruining wrestling. Meanwhile at holy PSU, we take transfers but they have to call us and then they have to pay us for the opportunity to put on the blue and white singlet. A reverse NIL of sorts. This comes straight from a friend of a friend of Cael's mailman.

You get all your information from Oklahoma st people and messages. I would put my sources up against yours anytime . How many D1 coaches do you talk to?

Honestly, who cares how many people you know and how many times you've been to nationals. A person confident in themselves doesn't need to mention these things. Let your record walk before you. I was sure you had more contacts than most before you mentioned it. I assume you know more than many but are not infallible. Heck, Willie gets bludgeoned every day somewhere and he knows more than anyone. Comes with the territory.
It's ok that Oklahoma st is contacting guys because those people reach out 1st. But when another team does it they for sure made 1st contact. DMs and private messages make everyone think they're now insiders.
But I gotta remember some here are wanting to be in and liked by the new staff so they will say whatever they need to

@west2east I think you have sources all over and have information of players from all schools. But you are certainly Iowa fan in a way that you defend them the hardest out of any other school. And that is ok. We welcome everyone here.
Not true go look around other boards. I'm currently defending Brooks because some idiot on the Iowa board is saying he's on roids. I just don't like when people speak about things they don't know so I provide the information I have. All the Iowa pays this and Iowa pays that with the #s pisses me off because it's not good for the sport at all. ADs hear this stuff and when they can't come up with said $ and keep falling further behind we will lose programs. Wrestling loses $ at about 77 universities yet people are said to be paying millions it's just not a good look. And we only hear those #s about Iowa and people will say well they leak it 🤣🤣 that's not true it's that people make them up. With revenue sharing and if NIL doesn't change wrestling will be losing a bunch of programs over the next 5 years
AA's leaving Programs can't help either.
Just looking at it objectively, the optics of Iowa obtaining transfers looks like the "rumors" are true. Not many know the truth on most of it, but it does look like they jump on every situation to "pay" a guy to transfer to Iowa. I am not saying the numbers are true, but I do believe there is tampering being done. I also don't believe its TnT doing the tampering. I also believe it happens at many other schools.
But honestly, it doesn't matter anymore and this mess that is will be sorted out somehow. The game is being played and we get to watch some Wrestling in public.
Tampering isn't a thing if it's done by a 3rd party like Bob. Everyone who's in the NIL game is doing it. Iowa , Oklahoma st , Penn st , Michigan,Iowa st, Rutgers and others. I don't like it but it's not illegal and teams are doing it or they will fall behind even more.
It's not good for the smaller programs who have AAs taken from them. It's not good for the sport as a whole. But I understand it because it's within the current rules
This summer the NCAA is supposed to have a clearinghouse for NIL deals and they will determine if the deal is fair or not.
OSU doesn't do that!
We have a call center dedicated to guys desiring to go into the portal with good reasons. All the guys at OSU want to be at OSU for the Program, the girls and the aura of winning that soaks the walls.
