I don't except the premise of your question. I don't believe it is a "liberal" judicial system that is out to get Trump. Our judicial system is operating as it should. No man is above the law. Therefore, if there is evidence Trump committed crimes, he should be investigated. Just as Democrats have been in the past and are currently, including the President and his son. And if the legal standard is met to charge Trump, he should be charged. Same goes with any Democrat.

The indictment is currently sealed. No one should believe anything said about that indictment from "sources." The sources, so far, have not been too accurate as it relates to this case. Including Trump himself.

Again, I would be very careful trusting unnamed sources right now. It may be true, but it very well may not be true.
btw, Lanny Davis, a lawyer for Michael Cohen, was on before that analyst and he made some serious accusations about what may be in the indictment. That was his opinion though, not CNN reporting.
Again, reporting on this case has not been very accurate. This time yesterday, no one thought an indictment was going to drop today and many right-wingers were claiming Trump wasn't going to be indicted.
And nothing has changed today for this country or politics. A person got indicted for potential crimes. Happens every day in this country. This person just happens to be a former President who found out he isn't above the law. A historical first but Trump has made many horrible historical firsts as President and now as a former President.

This prosecutor went to a grand jury and presented evidence to them. The legal standard to charge someone with a crime(s) was met and an indictment was handed down. The defendant will be accorded his due process rights and will be able to defend himself in a court of law.
What is wrong with any of this? What horrible consequences can come about because our judicial system is working?
Be honest. It isn't the decision you have a problem with. It is simply the person being charged. He is a Republican and you don't want to believe he may have committed a crime.
