Flo came out with their updated rankings and I think they got it really wrong this week. Just shows the bias towards PSU and the Big10
Not that 2 vs 3 matters but pretty sure Plott has a higher rpi & coaches rank, the Keck losses doesn't hurt him and he beat Pinto after losing to him, there's no head to head but he's not a conf champ. I still think he gets the 2.
I like it, but it looks a little biased towards OSU...which is okay considering this is our board.
My crack at it, and probably still biased?
125 - I think he gets the 10 seed.
133- He should get the 1 seed, but I bet he's in the 2 slot.
141 - I agree at 10.
149- I am not sure how much injury actually plays a part here, but I am going with 16.
157- I like him at the 10 as well.
165- I think he gets the 5 hole.
174- I bet he gets slotted past 16. I am going with 18.
184- I think he gets the 2, but he was tossed around in the Finals.
197- 20
285- 11
I think we are locked in for 3 AA's with a surprise AA and a beneficial draw AA. I don't know how hurt Williams is, but at 100% I think he is the surprise AA. Thompson also fits the category of surprise and beneficial draw.
33, 65 and 84 should be locks. I think we get two more AA's from 25, 41, 57, 74 and 49 if healthy. I am really excited to see Spratley get after, but it's a tough and wide-open class. I don't see us making much of a run at 97 or 285.
Any chance Vito falls back to 4th seed? 1. Crookham 2. Fix 3. Orine 4 Vito? Anyone else see it happening like that?
I am hopeful that Surber can use these two weeks to get healthy or get his head right. He is a much better wrestler than what he is showing on the mat this year. With Carroll going to 197, if he can beat Surber in the wrestle off, does Surber go up and wrestle off against Doucet next year?

Agree that we are locks at 133, 165, 184. I am giving Spratley a 75-80% to AA. I think it just depends on his seed, obviously the lower the better, but I don't see anyone at this weight he can't beat. Jamison is 50/50. If he can open up and wrestle like he did against Carlson he has a really good chance, but if he wrestles like he did against Edmond he is a R12 at best. 141 is a tough weight this year.

The 2024 NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships brackets will be announced Wednesday, March 13.
I've heard a couple of things on Jordan. Lets hope its just a sprain and he's ready to rock. Looking at the new rankings he might have an Abas or D' Emilio or Fernandez, all winnable if Healthy. Thompson might be looking at someone from the EIWA or Turley or Maylor from the b10, also winnable if he wrestles like he did for third. Consistency hasn't been his thing. I've been critical as hell but I of course I want him to win.
Spratley and Jamison will be battling every match because those 2 weights are nuts.

2 hrs I believe. They will do pigtails and then go into 125. Thompson should have 3+ hrs to recover.
Lol…. Yeah my 174 prediction is off. I was impressed by his performance coming back for 3rd at Big 12s. Still think he can backdoor to an AA but could just as easily go 0-2. I think 141 and 157 not wrestling well is concerning if we want to medal this year.

Besides 197, 285 and a healthy 149 being our longshots…I didn’t disagree.
25 and 41 are meat grinders. 74 is tough.
I’m looking forward to a fun tournament…I just hope I’m having fun.
I’ll be in attendance for the semi final session and consolations which will determine AAs. I hope to see a lot orange…..
125 is crazy no dominant wrestlers but lots of parity, very wide open, The Lehigh wrestler Spratley beat will likely be #1, #2 or at worst #3 don;t remember a weight division being so wide open, this is one of the cases a lower seed ccould get on a run and win the whole thing, lots of tossups here
I’m hearing Fix will be 1 and Vito falls back to 4. Which will be a difficult road for Fix
