A telltale sign of the modern lib is how seriously they take themselves and "their" causes and values, and, most egregiously, the rigidity that infects them.

Seriously, interacting with your type (you're kind of an exception) is exhausting. How such a large segment of folks became so stupifyingly dull, robotic, predictable, and devoid of humor is beyond me.

When I read your posts, they feel really angry and derisive. I don't see a lot of light-hearted posts coming from you. At least not on the 24/7 board. Maybe it is just the environment. I'll be honest, Roseanne is disgusting and an idiot (she's been pretty far left except for curiously supporting Trump). Odd that purported conservatives have held her up as an icon the last few months.

Will be interesting to see if Disney is even handed in firing people on the left they employ that make stupid bigoted statements. (Like Joy Behar or Keith Olberman.)

Is comparing an Iranian to an ape racist?

I am very broad shouldered, with large biceps and forearms (was big into weight lifting, at least until I became a dad in my early 30s). My hair turned gray prematurely. About 20 years ago, my pic was on the cover of a magazine in which I was interviewed. An associate commented that I looked like a silverback (gorilla). Should I have been offended and have called him a racist?

The comment sort of hurt my feelings because in my vanity still considered myself a good looking dude. (Now that I'm in my early 50s I don't care.)

Should I have tried to ruin the guy's career who made a hurtful comment out of jealousy?

I think the intolerance of the left has seen a groundswell since the ex-rodent in chief was elected and yet couldn’t get everything done he wanted. Not the least reason being the career whore politicians that blindly followed him were getting butcher in subsequent elections. Then out came the good ole “racism” card to explain anyone/everyone who opposed anything he did.

While not scientific at all I had over 10 liberal friends drop me from FB over DJT’s election while I dropped not a one. I had liberal family members all the sudden not want to talk politics at dinner, even though they couldn’t shut the hell up while the ex-rodent in chief was running and in office. They still can’t as well, some even saying he could have made it all good with a 3rd term.

In general, lots of people have lost the ability to listen, research their own positions (or opposition to positions), accept other opinions with an eye towards any common ground and give the other “opinions” a platform.

For a PSA though! Am in Azerbaijan (Baku) right now at a trade show. Interesting place and I’ve never seen so many single “knock a buzzard off a gut-wagon” hotties in my life! Talked to a 28 year old today that was simply stunning....intelligent, beautiful (okay stunningly gorgeous) and had a body like a goddess. Don’t remember how we got off on the conversation, but she said the guys in Baku, just want to drink and run around....WTF! In my next life, this is where I want to land at an early age! Most are Muslim, but drink, don’t wear ninja gear and are amazingly hot.....
