Assuming that video is actually a video of the down shooter and it has not been doctored, I believe your line of questioning here is valid.
This is just one example of why I stated earlier that we don't need to be jumping to conclusions about what truly happened today.
That guy in the interview claims he alerted USSS and the locals of him crawling on the roof. And from that distance, shooter was quite good. One inch from a potential killshot.
It really is alarming how easily he was able to obtain shooting high ground without them listening to observers and acting on it.

I too was amazed at how slowly Trump was removed afterwards. He was allowed to give the fist, look defiant, and then slowly escorted off the scene to chants of USA. Even placing him in the vehicle was slow, giving him more opportunity to respond to the crowd. How did the Secret Service not know there were not any other shooters waiting to open fire?
I don't know exactly what Secret Service protocol is, but I've always been under the impression they want to get their protectee out of the area immediately. Like they did President Reagan, for example (as the tweet notes). Of course, they did had immediately access to the limousine with Reagan, didn't here. Was that why they were so slow in moving the protectee?
We even hear Trump asking to get his shoes or something like that it sounds like and they apparently let him. Right after he was supposedly shot at?
I would agree, based solely on what is being reported right now. Which again, we must be careful with early reports and drawing conclusions from them.
Nobody needs to resign until a full and complete investigation of what happened today occurs.

I thought of this one, too. It’s shocking at how bad left wing sniper assassins have gotten with their aim since Lee Harvey Oswald. Oswald hit a target multiple times that was moving away from him as he shot from high up in a building. I guess the left just can’t find good sniper assassins any more. At least I think it was a left wing shooter. Maybe this guy was an Oswald-type patsy used by the American war apparatus upset Trump might bring the Ukraine money tree down, and the shooter just wasn’t as good as they expected.
