To Indict or not to Indict...

Hey I think you cross posted on one of these links... DateHookup.com is a source?

Blog entry on HuffPo from the host of CannabisRadio laments number and scheduling of debates... Check.
Sanders had to reschedule an event per the Observer. OK.
The NYTimes supports HRC. Hmmm....
O'Malley and Sanders repeat the same per the ChristianPost. Well that isn't surprising.
Super delegates suck says Sanders. Agree but nothing new there.

Can you tell me again what was done to change the rules for HRCs benefit? I see nothing here about "rule changes" as you initially asserted...

That's even after the Democrat party rigged the primary process to discourage any serious challengers after her failure in 2008?
My bad. The party rigged the process after 2008. Still I see nothing "rigged" - in the rules or anywhere else - unless you are hanging this whole argument on debate schedules. Weak sauce if so...

The debate schedules absolutely are part of it. There are more super delegates. There was a concerted effort to get the super delegates to commit earlier. DW-S was outlandish in her favoritism towards Clinton.

You honestly think only Bernie Sanders ( a lifelong NON Democrat), Marty O'Malley, Lincoln Chafee would be the stiffest competition a weak-ass candidate with many known weaknesses woudl muster if it wasn't understood by all the party cognoscenti that the skids were being greased for Hillary.

And I will stipulate that Jim Webb was a decent candidate, but not electable by the DNC circa 2016.

I haven't really read much of this thread but isn't it pretty clear she won't be indicted and that in exchange for that, she will be an extension of his third term if she's elected? Is anyone naive enough to believe otherwise?

and she will be worse than he was...but she's going to lock it up and there is no doubt about that.

It's quite probable she won't be indicted. The question will be what information gets leaked, by both the FBI and by those who probably have information obtained off of her e-mail server.

Man everyday there is more and more. Read an article this morning from some admiral that says they had a chance to negotiate with the Libyan nut job and that at the time Libya had a GDP of something like 8.7% and was producing 1.8 million barrels a day. Well on their way to 3 million per day. Now they have lost something like 80% of that production and one of the mooslum brotherhood clowns Obozo and Cankles were supporting was one in on the compound attack later. Monica Lewenski's boyfriends wife killed the negotiations and the rest is history.

At some point the rodent in chief will want to save his "legacy" worse than get another 4 years of its promulgation. I think she will be indicted....

The administration has bent over backwards to appease Iran, and Libya was bending over backwards to try to align itself with the U.S. and the government there got the rug pulled out from beneath them.

My worry is that after elected, Putin, Saudi Arabia, and god knows who else blackmail her with info they stole from the 20k deleted emails, further weakening America's role in world politics. Forget the fact at best, the potential leader of the free world is so out of touch with the times that she doesn't know how to use a computer. Or worse, she sold out American sovereignty in a pay-to-play scheme for the Clinton Foundation (the true impetus for a private email server and subsequent deletion of ~20k emails).

When I look at the worst of candidates, I can neither relate to the above in this technological age we live in nor can I brush it aside (Obama's DOJ will do that for me though).

The "standard" of proof or even evidence has reached an all time low. Here is the gist of the "proof":

Hillary Clinton didn’t win the Democratic primaries through democratic means. Rather, she stole the Democratic presidential nomination through systematic manipulation of the primary process. Over 400 super delegates pledged their support to Clinton before a single person cast a vote, the DNC is led by a Clinton surrogate, and mass consent for Clinton’s coronation was fed to the public through mainstream media outlets owned by wealthy Clinton donors.

Marshal your on a roll with these articles....too bad some of these guys will continue with their best "Ostrich with it's head in the sand" act.

E-mails coming from HRC's home-brew server caused the State Dept to have to disable security features on its OWN server,. back in 2010-11. They also knew her server was being attacked by outside forces.

This also gives lie to the statements of other government officials who claimed they had nor prior knowledge she was using her private server when the story first broke.

She could be caught beating a baby seal to death with her laptop and it still won't matter.

Oh damn, and I thought tri-delt baby seals were a protected species from vag/hag laptop beatings! Hell, I'm hiding the poodle and buying more ammo; gawd knows what's next!

"Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign is acknowledging that the former secretary of state failed to turn over a cryptic work-related email that she sent to her aide Huma Abedin while she was in office.

“Secretary Clinton had some emails with Huma that Huma did not have, and Huma had some emails with Secretary Clinton that Secretary Clinton did not have,” Clinton campaign spokesman Brian Fallon told the Associated Press.

One such email is from a Nov. 13, 2010 exchange in which Abedin asked Clinton if she wanted to begin using a State.gov email account. Clinton, who used only a personal account, indicated she was open to the idea, but said “I don’t want any risk of the personal being accessible.”

He rips her for the entire presser and then recommends no charges? Said they found multiple secret and top secret emails, laid out a negligence case and then does not really address the negligence - just that it wasn't intentional.

Not that I expected an indictment, but what the f* where they even investigating exactly? Seemed to say, yep. We found what we were looking for but it's not enough to press charges. What a waste of time. Two thoughts...

1. Bill's tarmac visit casts a pall over this whole thing. Easy low fruit to point at until November. If I were a dem, I would've hoped for something that would introduce a more electable candidate and get H out of the race.

2. If she does overcome this and gets elected, the lack of indictment through Bill's inappropriate influence is at least preferable to Obama granting her a pardon. One would think she owes him slightly less political capital this way.

Our politics are more and more resembling something like the Russian mafia than a western democracy.

Comey: gross negligence in handling sensitive/classified material meets the definition for violation of federal law and the standard for a felony or misdemeanor indictment.

Clinton's "extremely reckless" behavior would meet the standard for gross negligence under any reasonable test. And Comey himself said,"an ordinary government official could have faced administrative sanction for such conduct".

Comey, later in the presser: Clinton did not intentionally send or receive classified material

Not that I'm surprised, but that is, simply put, a ludicrous statement on the face of it.

Now all she needs to do is select KD as her vp pick and the fisting can continue. Damn, when it rains it does indeed pour.

Look guys, there is a very simple reality to this strange decision. Comey doesn't want to be executed, although him knowing what he knows opens him up to some kind of unfortunate incident in the near future.

18 USC 793 (aka the Espionage Act), sub-section (f):

(f) Whoever, being entrusted with or having lawful possession or control of any document, writing, code book, signal book, sketch, photograph, photographic negative, blueprint, plan, map, model, instrument, appliance, note, or information, relating to the national defense, (1) through gross negligence permits the same to be removed from its proper place of custody or delivered to anyone in violation of his trust, or to be lost, stolen, abstracted, or destroyed, or (2) having knowledge that the same has been illegally removed from its proper place of custody or delivered to anyone in violation of its trust, or lost, or stolen, abstracted, or destroyed, and fails to make prompt report of such loss, theft, abstraction, or destruction to his superior officer—

Shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both.

The good news: Contrary to what some may think about this morning's news about Hillary, I believe it completely plays into Trump's narrative that the system is rigged and we need a cleansing ASAP. If I'mTrump, I'm taking it to the streets: "Crooked Hillary is an indelible part of a system that is rigged -- rigged against you the American people. What would have happened if you, average Joe American citizen, had you committed those same National Security violations?"
