The transgender experiment is over in the military

It's a legitimate concern that they're already abnormally suicidal. There are enough problems in the battle zone without having to deal with a statistically unstable class of people.
Yeah, you're not going to get any traction on the suicide angle either. I posted links that address that. Simply being transgender doesn't make them suicidal. How they're treated by family and the public is the link to depression and suicide.

I didn't read. I don't have much time.

But yes, families don't know how to respond when a family member acts weird and mentally ill. Do they expect people to be excited? Do they expect people to beam when they announce they're transgender? I wouldn't want to be seen with them in public.

Here is the bottom line of why this kind of goofy experimentation is a bad idea:

Because the freaks upset the order and readiness of the troops/soldiers/sailors/airmen that are trained to complete a mission. Those in the heat of battle have zero desire to have to deal with a dude that thinks he's a woman or a woman that thinks she's a dude. Plain n simple.

I know I'm gonna get called out for playing a race card....I'm not, but I know it's going to happen...

I imagine a lot of people said the exact same thing when Eisenhower signed executive order 9981.

I know a lot of people said the same thing when "don't ask, don't tell" was implemented and when openly gay people were allowed to serve after don't ask don't tell was rescinded as well. Allowing openly gay persons to serve hasn't seemed to affect our combat readiness IMO.

Well, that sums it up for me. Your issue has nothing to do with actual science or the lack thereof, so feel free to quit pretending it does.

I was being facetious.

Semi-hijack: I certainly hope so, because I talked to him at Forty North in '73. The immortal Richard Harrison, originator of "I'm fvcking this dog, you just hold its head still", decided one night we should drink some tequila. Sounded good, having never quaffed that beverage. Got a fifth w/some powdered margarita mix (barf, only thing available back then) and pounded it in an hour. RH, big boy who played some football at "dead collie" U., decides another fifth was in order. Made it back to my place, and awoke next morning sicker than a dog. Years ago, there were "aversion therapy" ads for alcohol - ten days and a couple of two day follow ups - hell, I completed the entire program in one night! Never been so sick, and to this day, the mere smell of tequila makes me want to puke. I promised him the next morning that I'd never drink that shit again; tried to cheat a couple of times, but......

Biff has zero leadership so divert the narrative from his health care failure to trannies in the military.

Health care is the biggest threat to his presidency, not Russia.

A diabetic that requires insulin can't join the military. Someone with asthma that requires an inhaler can't join the military. Someone with a severe peanut allergy can't join the military.. yet we're angry because someone who requires daily hormone replacement therapy can't join the military? The military wants and should only take in young, healthy people. They do not want damaged goods.. and that makes sense to me. I'm happy gay people can serve, but Trans people have a medical condition that requires medication. This makes them no different type 1 diabetics. They have a medical problem that requires daily medication and the close supervision of a Doctor to keep them healthy and happy.. but we're angry because some people think it's unwise to parachute them into the mountains of Afghanistan..? I'm OK with the military turning away people who have medical conditions that require daily medication. It's not about discrimination.. it just makes sense.

Here's Good Trump finally coming out of his shell on Twitter today.

After consultation with my Generals and military experts, please be advised that the United States Government will not accept or allow......

....Transgender individuals to serve in any capacity in the U.S. Military. Our military must be focused on decisive and overwhelming.....

....victory and cannot be burdened with the tremendous medical costs and disruption that transgender in the military would entail. Thank you
So a transmasculine genderqueer ("they") can't join the Pink Berets?

Number of deaths per year caused by asthma: Approx 250,000.

Number of deaths per year caused by diabetes: Approx 76,000.

Number of deaths per year caused by being transgender: Approx 0.

Nope, transgender is not a medical condition like asthma and diabetes. Serious question. What about transgenders who don't take hormones?

Again..... nothing?

I'm not really outraged because I've got one and would also shower with the women if the army would let me. 'Murica. Improvise and adapt, etc.

Has he tweeted whether people with bone spurs can serve? The irony is he was too big a pussy to serve.

Blows my mind that he's distracted the country from his health care failure by tweeting about trannies. When NK launches their 11th ICBM this year he'll call for military bathrooms to be gender specific.

***Of all posters (apologies in advance to toon town), you should be the last to include "irony" within an argument.***

So, being not normal is now the set point for mental illness? Are people with cancer mentally ill too? They aren't normal. How about people with psoriasis, Downs syndrome, or aposthia?

Maybe we should consider adults who believe in a fictional higher power mentally ill. We grow out of our beliefs in fictional things like Santa Claus, the Easter bunny, and the tooth fairy. Maybe the inability to grow out of the belief there is some sort of higher power is a sign of mental illness. People who believe in god have some pretty irrational thoughts, probably more so than a man who feels like he's a woman.
