They still are. These days it's just in the form of what you should be offended by and other useless bullshit.

serious question - how do you at this point not believe that is exactly what happened?
Take a look at a timeline of events and tell me HOW that could have happened.
Dems: "That's all? What a waste of time. You Pubs are all sheep. You bought into the narrative."
Pubs: "You Libs are all sheep. It is so clear that this is a witch hunt. You bought into the narrative."
And the divide between the two grows and grows.
The result is that politics is becoming so tribal, that the House and Senate can't function in a bipartisan manner going forward, and is basically unable to get anything of substance accomplished.
None of this is good for the future of this country.

Sure it is, I agree 100%, anybody full left or full right is wrong. Honestly, I don't see Democrats wanting to budge one bit on anything to work in a bipartisan manner. It's either their way or the highway. They're 100% focused on character assasination of Trump and nothing else.
