Spicer: 'no evidence' Mueller probe is witch hunt

the meddling was in the campaign, not the election. It's a big waste of time as had been said ad nausea. You can do anything you want to a campaign....even indict people. They're just throwing crap on the wall again hoping something sticks. It's a biased hunt looking for anything hiding under any rock.

Russian meddling and Russian collusion are 2 separate things. Some people can't figure that out.
You've just described the many on the left right now, including some of our own boardsters. Why do you think the two have been blended into a singular narrative by some?

Bonjourno...I am a French model.

You know it’s true. You read it on the inter-webs.

Who was leading the FBI when this complex logistical event took place?

What relevance does this cut and paste have to the ridiculous assertions that Mueller prevented families from suing the Saudis?

Zero.

You’re talking with someone, unlike yourself, that fully understands “complicated” legal concepts like jurisdiction...standing...how a lawsuit is filed...and that lawsuits WERE ACTUALLY FILED against the Saudis over 9/11 (so he didn’t prevent crap).

So, you can't explain it. Just spouting BS. Got it.
no more schooling after this. Sheesh. It gets old. Interfering with an election you go to jail, interfering in a campaign is nothing at all and is done all the time. Whatever the russians did was in the campaign, not the election. They didn't prevent one vote during the election, change one vote during the election, they did absolutely nothing during the election (or at least accused of). What the russians have been accused of is hacking the campaign...dnc in particular. Happens all the time. Shouldn't hillary be accused of the same thing...she obviously cooked the books of the democratic campaign...just ask Bernie Saunders. Don't hear anything about hillary doing the same thing and I can't understand why. What she did was actually worse than the russians. That is the difference. school over.

12 Russian Agents Indicted in Mueller Investigation

  • WASHINGTON — The special counsel investigating Russian interference in the 2016 election issued an indictment of 12 Russian intelligence officers on Friday in the hacking of the Democratic National Committee and the Clinton presidential campaign. The indictment came only three days before President Trump was planning to meet with President Vladimir V. Putin of Russia in Helsinki, Finland.

The 29-page indictment is the most detailed accusation by the American government to date of the Russian government’s interference in the 2016 election, and it includes a litany of brazen Russian subterfuge operations meant to foment chaos in the months before Election Day.

From phishing attacks to gain access to Democratic operatives, to money laundering, to attempts to break into state elections boards, the indictment details a vigorous and complex effort by Russia’s top military intelligence service to sabotage the campaign of Mr. Trump’s Democratic rival, Hillary Clinton.

The timing of the indictment, by Robert S. Mueller III, the special counsel, added a jolt of tension to the already freighted atmosphere surrounding Mr. Trump’s meeting with Mr. Putin. It is all but certain to feed into the conspiratorial views held by the president and some of his allies that Mr. Mueller’s prosecutors are determined to undermine Mr. Trump’s designs for a rapprochement with Russia.

campaign's are nothing more than marketing tools for whoever is running. They are trying to spread some of this out but it was about hacking campaigns...not elections. I guess we can go round and round on this and like I mentioned, you still won't get it. Let's just stop now. And, it looks like all this happened under nobama's watch.

As many do I want this to play out and if Trump did something illegal then crucify him, got no problems with that.

This is starting to remind me of a frivolous lawsuit though. Bad actors looking for weaknesses find them a plenty and yet almost nothing is said about the people who allowed their computers to be hacked or even worse the server in the basement. Can tell you if my carelessness on a company laptop resulted in confidential company information being released publically, my ass would be fired and not one person would say “ah you poor guy,” we are going to chase the people that duped you.

The ex-rodent in chiefs administration knew this was going on and did nothing....well until it was politically expedient. They probably thought this was going to harm Trump, which they wanted, so they said and did nothing.

Maybe the most absurd part of this is what the emails revealed and not so much they were hacked! Again if I would have said some of the things those emails revealed, I’d be fired and no one would care how I was hacked.

I’ll go out on a limb and say now, as before, that Trump will weather this and has done nothing wrong. Now if he’ll appoint two more conservative SC justices I’ll be extremely happy.

I agree with much of what you say, but....

at the same time, the people that took advantage of your carelessness and hacked your laptop and disclosed those confidential records DID commit a crime...crimes that have been pursued and prosecuted in other similar cases.

JD, oh I'm onboard with prosecuting them when you can even though my actions (really lack of actions) created the atmosphere where they could get into my world.

Before I left my last job, we went through a very intense training course about how hackers get into your system. I had no idea all the schemes out there and learned a ton. It really helped carve a very different attitude then I previously had.

I liken it to someone leaving the keys in their ignition of their car. Then someone coming by and subsequently swiping the car. The car thief definitely committed a crime, but I set the table for the crime to occur and really should be ridiculed for doing such.

Tell you though, it does make me wonder how safe the electronic voting can be, especially going forward.
