Iowa

It actually went down exactly like most predicted. Plott was not going to beat Ferrari, he is way too limited. Plott was not robbed like some commented — neither guy was going to score from that position although Plott did have a better position. Ferrari wins 9 out of 10. I don’t see it as an upset.

Teemer was never in jeopardy of losing that match. Score was 10-6 but it really wasn’t close.

I was surprised with all the offense. I thought a lot of the marches would have been a lot closer with lower scoring.

With the same wrestles, Iowa wins every time. If Arnold wrestles, it gets interesting because bonus points decide the match. Advantage OSU.

I don’t disagree with a lot of the above but I will say had Fish v Teemer had another 60 seconds, it would have been very tight. Teemer had gassed and the momentum was changing and was evident by watching.

Calling “Plott” limited is silly. I would agree that Ferrari is a tough matchup and an extremely talented wrestler who will get better. His style is also very difficult to wrestle especially the first time seeing it.

The point was he did NOT cheat and only OSU fans are saying wrestling one a knee is cheating.
Just for the record, I don’t think it’s cheating. My only point was if he wrestles like that he should get called for stalling at a higher rate. I’m not even saying he should get called every time he does it. But if he does it without shooting from it (bc I understand it is part of his offense eventually) for extended times then call him. Bc when he doesn’t shoot from it it’s a defensive stance that clearly stalls the opponents offense and opportunities to score.

I hate the kneeling in neutral but it’s within the rules and ripe for the flying squirrel or face-to-face blast double. Seems really strange to compare it to a guy keeping his arm behind his back to avoid elbow ties.
Are you talking about RBY? The comparison came from the fact RBY also wrestled on one knee, correct?
