Thanks Wyo. I think you get the anonymous internet schtick. You're an example of someone I usually disagree with but still read -- you've had some thought provoking stuff through the years. Did you ever do the Dr. enrollment plan like we were talking about at one time? That was an idea that needs serious consideration, imo. From both family Dr's and patients.
Alf, despite his constant compensation for a tiny penis and homoerotic fixations (hella set of issues to deal with) has his points in tech and privacy (which should drive a lot more concern over binary, federal political analysis). He spent time and effort taking a bunch of N. Tulsa kids under his wing in basketball, so he can't be all bad. That is why I have been so indulgent and patient with him. I'm holding out hope because there's some ray of light in there to help someone else, even if not politically. He's a classic engineer type -- may have skill sets in STEM areas but when they try to engage in a non-linear social science with competing viewpoints... whew boy, hang on to your hat.
There is an opening line in a book about (Sitting Bull? Red Cloud? I cant' remember which one) that says there are different types of intelligence. A certain hawk can spot a mouse under a blanket of snow from a mile. A type of dung beetle can smell a pile of medic from like... 15 miles or something insane. The different types of intelligence that manifest on these boards are interesting. In a way, it's the one are where you get the truest synthesis of free speech and market place of ideas. People just lay out their racism, lunacy, altruism, etc. and you get to see what they're really thinking and can and can not defend. That's probably another post.
