Sooo is the portal still open then? How does this work? Just when I thought I had it pegged!
OSU kids have an extended period of time to enter based on the coaching change.
Seems longer than that doesn't it? I feel like DT has been your coach for a couple months now.
It’s been like Christmas every day around here.
On our wrestling text thread, we’ve been laughing about how excited we are and how much we’ve been talking about wrestling and it’s MAY.
We’re more excited than we’ve been during several of the past seasons.
I wish the season started tomorrow. To hell with prima Donna football players & striking out baseball queers.

Couple years ago we knew some of the wrestlers at OSU. They said the basketball players were punks.

I think the point was made pretty clearly that I’m just not a fan and he wasn’t an AA this last year. Its not about whether he’s an accomplished wrestler or not… its about running down PSU.

This time Michigan State standout Caleb Fish signs up to wrestle his final collegiate season in Stillwater.
Hardly an Oklahoma boy, moved in from Illinois when they canceled the HS season due to Covarona. Stopped in for a few seasons, now the family lives in Minnesota. I don’t know the particulars but I am always skeptical of any kid who has been at 3+ high schools sticking it out.
I don't know anything about him except what is on his OSU bio which only lists Edmond and Stillwater.
I do agree about the three high schools and I've always found it difficult to fathom how parents can uproot their families to improve their kids sports prospects. However, I'm always happy when there is a stud transfer to the Stillwater HS pipeline.

Why would Rin be too light? He wrestled 61kg (134lb) 8 months ago at u20 worlds.
I was told he’s light. Like walking around in the 120s light. Was there a 57kg from his team he couldn’t beat?
It’s incredibly hard to find info on the kid. Here’s what I know:
1) he’s japanese
2) he committed to us
3) he wrestled at 61kg last August

I was told this by someone with eyes in the room. That’s all I can say my man.
Pretty sure even Blair had commented somewhere he was going to be a 125. Could be wrong.
I minored in Japanese back in the 80s. So if you guys need a translator give me a shout.
