Again, Trump encouraged the behavior with his false lies, speeches (even on that day at the rally he attended to rev up the mob). His rhetoric, his attack on our election seeking to delegitimize it simply because he lost. The behavior and speeches/rhetoric of his surrogates. It was also clearly Trump supporters who engaged in the insurrection. They made it clear who they were supporting. They left nothing to doubt.

One of the processes of rational thinking is to extrapolate what is meant by what is said. I don’t think I misrepresented you in any way. The principle you were espousing, as far as I could tell, was that without evidentiary proof that Biden urged the monkey-face lady to act the way she did, explicit evidence, then it is in error to blame Biden for her actions. I agree with that principle, and said so. At a later point you and Sys brought Trump into the conversation (surprise, surprise, you just can’t seem to let go of your hatred, every topic must eventually get around to Trump) at which time you postulated there is multiple evidence that he is legitimately connected to the attack at the Capitol. “Legitimately connected” implies there is criminal evidence that he instructed people to do what they did. I asked for examples of such legitimate connection and was given a laughable generic response that I don’t think would be allowed to be presented in a legitimate court of law. So @my_2cents, I think you have legitimately failed in defending your contention. The principle you applied to the Biden contention applies equally the the Trump imbroglio.

Sure, I have done plenty of self-reflection, especially as it comes to my beliefs on numerous issues.
As I've have told you before Dan, I once was a Republican. The first presidential candidate I voted for was George W. Bush in 2000. I've worked on Republican campaigns in the past.
My beliefs (in numerous areas, just not politics) have changed greatly as I have grown older. I have listened to the valid arguments of others and considered other valid viewpoints. And I continue to try to do so.
