Should have never been legal to begin with. Devices that enable semi-auto weapons to simulate automatic fire should have been treated like any other modification that enables automatic fire by the ATF. They signed off on this shit.

No, it's not a loophole no matter what terms you use. Private sellers are not required to obtain background checks on purchasers regardless of where the transaction is made. Sorry, those are the #facts as dictated by the law.

No, it doesn't. It's still illegal for them to possess the firearm and they will be punished if they are caught with it. They don't get to claim exemption because they bought it from a private seller. If they could, THAT would be a loophole.

I think these undocumented gun owners should be given sanctuary cities. Who is in? We have Sheriffs that will tell the Feds phuck u if they try to get them. You know, these are people more American then us, they worked hard in a prison producing license plates, which is more work then most young Americans can do today living off mom and dad. And, they learned how to read while in prison, their literacy rate is really high, higher then US high schools.

The law isn't inadequate or ambiguous. Private sellers are not required to obtain background checks on purchasers. Prohibited persons are not legally allowed to possess firearms regardless of where they obtain them.
