Anything yet on Trump Russia collusion?

Cue the name calling.
Cue the attempt to hide behind another username, yet again Toon. Don't cry Clinton S. If you can't handle the rigors of this board, stop posting on it. It's not your player performance science or anything you want to make believe patsy cake like that. This board actually requires thought. Have some or get to stepping.

lol, here we go...which former/current poster am I this week?

Anyways, I'm still waiting on you to explain which ideology Obama was an ideologue of.

"....clarified the comments saying that he was "not referring specifically to the Russia investigation, but rather the totality of challenges the President is currently facing."

So, still nothing.

It is interesting that you selectively quoted from that article. Besides the fact that Senator Warner is talking about the totality of the challenges Trump is facing (which would include the Russia investigation), here is another quote: "It comes after a source told The Guardian the investigation now has "specific, concrete and corroborative evidence of collusion."

It is clear to anyone that this investigation is still very much ongoing and the public has yet to learn all that has and is being uncovered. As one poster already posted, be patient...this is an ongoing investigation.

If it is proven though that the Trump campaign colluded with Russia and that Trump knew of this collusion, do you believe he should resign MegaPoke?

Of course. Trump is merely a means to an end and as soon as he's a legitimate liability, he's no longer useful to that end.

Problem is, so far the sum total of this intense and utterly ridiculous effort to find something legitimate in the Russian dry well is both pathetic and worthy of endless ridicule. There is nothing in this article but more gradual crawfishing. By all means, cling to the hope that a sitting US president is impeached over something that not a single shred of evidence has been detailed. And if you think the establishment would not release that info if it existed, you are high. The political value of that would make it impossible to sit on.

You also continue to misread my position as a binary left right Trump defense rather than an attack on the uniparty establishment and its Russian fairy tale. I've actually been pretty clear on that.

Ok.

I do not hope that Trump is impeached. My hope is that Trump and his campaign didn't collude with the Russian government during the campaign. I have no desire to see Trump impeached unless he did something that is deserving of such a political fate.

We will see what the investigations produce. I've yet to draw any conclusions though as apparently you have. We still don't know enough to draw such conclusions.

Sounds super credible.

Actually it does sound credible to me. It seems I have heard long before the Presidential race that Trump got funding for some of his enterprises from Russian investors. Russian investors, not the Russian government. Were the investors a front for the Russian government? I for one would like to know.

On the other hand I am curious to know what the supposed collusion between Trump and the Russian government was. Who colluded, and to what end? Putin is supposed to have favored Trump over Hillary. What did he do to secure Trump's victory? What is he supposed to get in return? So far I don't think there is any evidence to answer those questions. Where am I wrong?

For one, we know Putin didn't put together a Youtube video aimed at American voters.

I'm pretty sure that's an accurate statement.

Sorry, I'm pretty dense. What was the collusion between Flynn and Putin and how did it affect the Trump administration? And how does Flynn's suspected collusion tie to Trump, other than the fact he was going to work for Trump? Was Flynn going to be a Russian spy? Was he going to sabotage American intelligence operations? Trump cut him loose very quickly. Is the contention that Trump is a Russian agent? Please bring me up to speed.

I don't think we know the full answer to that question yet. Hence, the continuing investigations.

My point is simply that there are still a lot of questions related to all of this. This matter is far from over with.

or.... OR... in order to keep blame for this embarrassing bullshit decentralized, appearances have to be kept up until it goes away.

People are stupid. Just plain stupid. If someone doesn't think that foreign governments try to influence elections, they are idiots! I'd bet the house we do the same thing. I guess it's just easier to manipulate some citizens. For all I know, the Russians are funding the left-wing riots.

It's been well documented that we do. From Obama openly campaigning against Brexit to secretly influencing Eastern European elections (and probably many others we don't know about.) Sometimes the hypocrisy irks me because it's obviously working on our unaware and compliant citizenry, other time I just laugh.

I laugh when conservatives lack the moral awareness to see a difference between hacking, stealing, and blanketing social media with fake stories from fake accounts on one hand, and "open campaigning" on the other hand. Speaks volumes when you try to equate the two things. Why? Trying to validate hacking and stealing to support Fatass?

Of course. Obama's use of taxpayer money to covertly influence the Israeli election sure was transparent, huh?

.

If he had, would that be the same thing as what he has been accused of doing in relation to the US presidential election? If the accusations are true, there is a huge difference between his actions and the actions of Obama regarding the French presidential election.

You are the biggest partisan bootlicker on this board by a factor of 10. Obama's shenanigans went far beyond open campaigning (which is bad enough).

http://www.cnn.com/2015/07/03/politics/germany-media-spying-obama-administration/

Doesn't matter D vs. R, Uncle Sam tries to influence everything he possibly can via coups, assassinations, funding, freedom spreading, etc. So the idea of any other country hacking HILLARY'S ILLEGAL SERVER, even big bad Russia, I just don't see that we have any moral high ground to stand on. Or at least I certainly don't because I'm right of you. And again, the press conflates Wikileaks (who I believe was a DNC insider) with Russian election hacking. I have no doubt Russia attempted to hack the DNC/Hillary's server/etc. They were probably pretty successful too given dem ineptness, but it still looks like a dog and pony show to me to discredit Trump out of the gate. When actual evidence of collusion between Trump and Putin is put forward then by all means, prosecute and do what needs to be done.

"I have said from the get go that a special prosecutor is the way to go. But now, with what has happened, it is the only way to go to restore the American people's faith. Are people going to suspect cover-up? Absolutely. If an independent special prosecutor is appointed, there can still be some faith that we can get to the bottom of this. If not, everyone will suspect cover-up." - Senator Chuck Schumer

Trump just reignited big time calls for a special prosecutor. Very strange political move by Trump.

I mean.... that uncredited cut and paste must've taken you almost 90 seconds to research. Well done! Now, where's the actionable concrete tangible 'evidence' on any of this? You are employed in the law field right?

Let me be really clear here.

1. If Trump colluded with Russia to fix the election somehow, he should be shot. Literally. Shot.
2. If he had and there was a shred of actionable evidence, it would've been leaked before the inauguration.
3. To date, the most plausible Russian narrative origin story is that Pedesta and Hillary basically shit it out and gave birth to it in the hazy hungover wake of her hilarious defeat.
4. Thusly, my conclusion remains unchanged until someone shows me something beyond Trump firing a guy Hillary took a shit on less than a week ago.
5. My position on this is not "pro Trump." It's anti self proclaimed resistance nerds. It really is exhausting being put into position to defend a guy who I would mostly be criticizing at this point because the "resistance" is such of bunch of reactionary, hyperbolic drama queens.

It's from Reddit, and here's the link with sources.

1. Good for you. Finally. was that so hard?

2. You're wrong. Why do you think that government would leak it? i know your narrative that anyone in government is stupid and evil, but the IRS didn't leak his tax returns. The state tax authorities didn't leak anything. Not everyone is a conservative and plays by the "win at all costs" rule. Some people actually do their jobs with some pride and integrity. I know, I know, that's not true in your alt right helmet, but it's the truth.

3. You're deliberately ignoring some pretty powerful stuff. His own kids have stated he gets funding from russia.

4. You're mind is made up and there's no sense carrying on about it. You sure did when a dem was in office but now... eh. Your guy's in. There's so much awful shit in that link that flatly contradicts his "i have nothing with Russia" line.

5. The most damning of all? He's fired 3 people that were investigating him. It takes a class A moron not to see what's going on. Second most damning thing? He won't release the tax returns. Why not?

You were the board's biggest Biff Sniffer and your evolution is fun to watch. Still defending him, I see.

Don't worry - nothing will happen to him and you'll get exactly what you want. He'll stall the investigations and then say theres no evidence. You'll have the corruption, personal greed, nepotism and authoritarian shit you've been wanting so badly. Your republicans are making it happen. Kudos. Maybe even our federal government will finally be as good as Oklahoma's! You conservatives have taken it over, too.
