As a CPA and conservative you care A LOT about money. So, wake me when the state of Oklahoma or ANY conservative state reaches the wealth earned and gross domestic product produced in those God Awful Dem states and cities like NYC, LA, Seattle, Chicago, New Haven, San Fran, San Diego , Philly etc.
Hell California’s gross domestic product is greater than all but five countries in the whole world! Yep, total failures because Democrats run them! And then we have pitiful little Trumpland Oklahoma! 😂
With California’s population being 38 million or ten percent of this nation's population, you would think that wouldn’t be the case if it was so horrible living under a Democratic government. Same thing for New York. In the immortal words of Yogi Berra, “Nobody goes there anymore it’s too crowded!”
David, would you happen to be related to the former Democratic Governor of Oklahoma, David Hall? The one that was convicted of crimes and served time? At least must be a burden to have that name in Oklahoma, no wonder so bitter about Oklahoma. Sorry if you have to carry that burden, sincerely. No matter party affiliation who would want the name Richard Nixon, period.
For those too young....
Three days after leaving office in 1975, Hall was indicted on federal racketeering and extortion charges, in a conspiracy involving Hall and Oklahoma Secretary of State John Rogers willfully steering State of Oklahoma employee retiree funds to investment funds controlled by Dallas, Texas, businessman W. W. "Doc" Taylor. At Hall's trial, Rogers testified that he became an informant after Hall offered him a bribe. Hall was convicted of bribery and extortion,[1] and became the first Oklahoma Governor to be convicted of criminal acts committed during his tenure. After exhausting all appeals, he served 19 months of a three-year sentence at the Federal Correctional Institution, Safford. (John Ehrlichman, of Watergate fame, was also housed at the same time at Safford.)[2] Upon his release from prison in 1978, he was disbarred by the Oklahoma Bar Association, which effectively prevented him from practicing law in Oklahoma. Leaving the public spotlight, he moved to La Jolla, California, where he worked in real estate and other ventures.
We also tried another Dim governor, David Walters...
While in office he was accused of election violations in that he conspired to hide $18,000 dollars in campaign donations by attributing them to someone else. At the end of procedures, Governor Walters asked prosecutors what they wanted to end the rather lengthy process. An agreement was reached that the governor would plead guilty to a misdemeanor offense and pay a fine, in return for which his record would be expunged in twelve months. Though Walters claimed his innocence of the charges, he said it was in the best interest of the state and his family to accept the plea agreement. Twelve months later the charge was expunged from his record.[4][5] He did not run for re-election in 1994
Some Dim governors left a bad taste.
Remember what Obama said, you did not create that wealth.
You really are missing the boat if you believe how the US was colonized and why certain cities became early centers for commerce first was all due to political party.
The heartland of this country is the only place in this country right now that a family can survive on one spouse's salary and raise a family and own a home, no wonder Dims want socialism and BLM offers up destruction of the western civilized family unit as we know it and for the village to raise the child right on their website. No on can afford to live in over taxed Dim cities ran by over lords that say what is good for thee is not for me, and that goes for the wealth. Keep them down and barely surviving on the government teet. Let's not get them jobs and good housing, let's give them projects and government handouts while politicians get rich. Dim plan for decades.
If that is the game you want to play and go far back in time? How about the fact it was a Republican that stopped slavery? Guess that Dem party need to own systemic racism as well. LOL.
You do know people are fleeing the large Democratic cities right now?
