No, I’m as far removed from being a communist as you can get, even farther removed than you. So tell me: who gets to have a voice in a democracy, who gets to participate, who gets to seek political office and govern? And if some citizens are prevented from participating in full does that mean democracy doesn’t apply for them? And if democracy doesn’t apply to every citizen what does that tell us about democracy when it comes to a free society? If it’s democracy for some but not for others is democracy something worth having? These are all questions asked in all honesty and sincerity, and I would ask that you give honest answers.
