Trump redesigning Airforce One...

trust me, it''s not the same F15 as the ones 20 years ago. Just look at your car today vs 20 ys ago. They've upgraded the F15 many tor as far as threat dimes...and it's success is not because of avionics but airframe and engines.
Of course everything has been upgraded.........I am very well updated on avionics on the F-22 and F-35 also , I have just never worked on them .....airframe and engines don't have much impact when you are engaging targets at 40 miles..........as far as the F-15E despite being much newer it has no where the capabilities the F-111s had in the interdiction strike role, it is much more versatile and cheaper to operate
So what about AF1's paint makes it so special in terms of visual camouflage and why isn't it common on military aircraft? Who designed the paint scheme for AF1? Who picked the colors? Has the concept of visual camouflage stayed the exact same during all the years AF1 has had its paint scheme?

Please explain that stuff to us 5 year olds. None of us have access to the top secret stuff regarding AF1's colors.
As I said, it does not do a lot, everything together helps........the pentagon spend millions of dollars analyzing exact colors and color schemes that blend with each aircraft's operating environment best....everything helps, its not something that is absolute, its like radar jamming, you don't obliterate the enemies radar, just making the opponent have to blink or take a quick second look can be enough

You’re obviously incapable of absorbing the #facts, Medic. You don’t want to believe them because they don’t line up with your worldview.

There’s a term for that...

Cognitive dissonance
Maybe you want to take a swing at some questions, Toon. Since you think he's correct, give it a shot. I'll bet you avoid them like you avoid paying rent, weight control, and conscious females.

When was AF1's color scheme chosen and by who?

They just want some interesting, civil discourse on here.

When the USAF was using Airborne command posts they were painted the same basic scheme because they operated in the same basic environment as AF1.....but combat aircraft all have a paint scheme which is best for their most common operating environment.........an F-15C is a different shade of grey than an F-15E..........you are blowing this way out of proportion..........an aircraft like AF1 has a paint scheme that blends better with its environment, it does not "hide " it, it just makes it so it does not stand out any more than it has too.......the last thing you want is to make it stand out, is probably the best way to put it....you don;t want to make the President's plane look like a big American flag flying through the sky....keep it as subdued as possible

You're intentionally dodging the question. Who designed the AF1 paint scheme and who chose the colors? Why were those particular colors chosen?

Have you seen a proposed design in red, white, and blue? How do you know it would stand out? Sounds like nothing more than a blind assumption.

Sorry man, your posts just look like your usual Trump hate that you try to cloak in some vague claim of expertise.

What Medic, I think, is alluding to is the fact that every history of the color scheme that I (and probably him too) could find stated that the color scheme of Air Force one was designed Raymond Lowey and Jack and Jackie Kennedy without input or direction from the Air Force with regards to how best to blend in with its environment (and has remained basically the same since 1962).

Which runs counter to your suggestion that the color scheme is somehow the work of the Air Force or at their direction and advice.

Care to comment on that?

And you wonder why I call you a gamer haha lol.

If that made sense, sure lol...I don’t game don’t even own a system anymore, and when I did it was usually on Netflix.

Gaming died when Call of Duty went Halo and NCAA football was no more.

Trump says the new AF1 will be Red , White and Blue, really stand out...........maybe someone should tell him that the current color scheme was designed for low visibility, make it harder to spot during flight........don't really think we want our Government officials flying around in something that looks like a bulls eye.....on second thought.......

The histories I have read on AF1 suggest that the current color scheme was designed for very different reasons.

I was also a little shocked by the last suggestion in this quote that maybe we do want out government officials riding in a giant bullseyes and what that might have implied by you when speaking about AF1 in particular. I do concede that you very well may have been joking/attempting irony or sarcasm with that as well. I just don’t know, and decided not to assume the worst about you.

Whether or not you are/were a gamer was never in question. The fact that you post here exactly like my 14 year old nephew talks while playing online video games has always been a dead giveaway.

No shit Sherlock lol...knew that. My grandfather built f-15s at the McDonnell Douglas plant in Tulsa.

F-15 parts/assemblies?
Final assembly was/is at St. Louis.

Your grandfather probably knew my grandfather or my dad at one time. They both worked at North American/Rockwell and Douglas/McDonnell Douglas at different times in Tulsa.

Yeah I wanna say he worked on wing assembly but not for sure. MCD’s been closed forever now, it was a long time ago I visited there.

How about you separate his #facts from his #opinions and make a list for each. Think of it as an opportunity to exercise that big brain of yours and school us.

I betcha won't...

Considering his vast expertise in such areas and you/others’ complete lack of knowing wtf you’re talking about lol, you really wanna see how stupid you all look? Haha...I didn’t think so.

I've been wiping my ass with you all day, gamer dork. At least you've got soft, fat cheeks to keep me from chafing my crack.

Don't let anybody try to tell you that you're worthless.
