Trump goes after LeBron James

I get it, some people don't like ballsy and brash.

I do.

The answer you guys have come up with isn't effective.

Unless you think browbeating is a legit tool.

ride or collide is a bit messy for the
desert fork slash port crowd

heaven forbid if 99% of these peeps had to knock something in the head to eat their steak

Was PT Barnum a businessman in your eyes as well?
see, you can't be serious. If I have to really answer that question then you are beyond...well, never mind. He had to be one to keep the ship afloat. Sheesh. come on man.

Plenty examples of semi successful marketers, they don't make lasting impacts but do well enough. You seem awfully defensive on this point...

Phineas Taylor Barnum (July 5, 1810 – April 7, 1891) was an American showman, politician, and businessman remembered for promoting celebrated hoaxes and for founding the Barnum & Bailey Circus (1871–2017).[1] He was also an author, publisher, and philanthropist, though he said of himself: "I am a showman by profession… and all the gilding shall make nothing else of me".[2] According to his critics, his personal aim was "to put money in his own coffers."[2] He is widely credited with coining the adage "There's a sucker born every minute",[3] although no evidence can be found of him saying this.

Intersesting. I didn’t know he was a politician, also.

So many similarities.

I live to hear what physical freaks of nature have to say about anything. They can ball and we can't so they know better than us.

They make a gazillion dollars a year and give 1% to a charity which makes them a saint.

All us unwashed should pay attention, smart jocks know best. I'm going to go out tomorrow and get me a LeBron jersey so I can look 12 again.

If I go out and buy a MAGA hat what age will I look?

What ever age you are.

MAGA hats make any age look good. Just don't wear a jersey with it if you are over the age of 18. You'll kill the vibe of having an awesome hat and everyone thinking you are cool.

What percentage do you think Donnie gives to charity?

Political view and social stance are not the same thing.

What has Lebron said that is so bad? Most of what he says has to do with Trump trying to divide us and his mis steps around the racist in Virginia

Streak as I said before, just the wrong fight right now. Trump has so many things he can legitimately talk about that have moved this country past the ex-rodent in chiefs almost non-existent economic accomplishments.

My primary issue with James and people like him is where were they when the ex-rodent in chief was putting various groups of Americans against various other groups? They were pretty much silent and those that did speak up were dog piled as racist, house *******, and so on. Trump absolutely does not deserve for 90%+ of news coverage to be negative.

I always think back to when the ex-rodent in chief said “he acted stupidly” when describing the actions of a white police officer while arresting his little professor buddy in Massachusetts. Could a white president get away with saying the same about a black police officer without getting excoriated by the less than honest media? No friggin way! There were other instances where had the rolls been reversed the media would have gone more stupid than normal.

Another example was the ex-rodent in chief with a hot mic telling Medvedev that he would have “more flexibility” to negotiate missile defensive systems with Vlad, after the election in November. Hell in the current media playbook and if Trump had said that, the media would be screaming “collusion collusion collusion.”

Jordan’s tweet was about as vanilla as possible btw. He’s much smarter than most of the dip sticks now though. Always reminds me of the phrase “if politics is not your business, than keep your business out of politics.”

If I were a hard core lib/dem my strategy until mid-terms were over would be to get as many public figures as possible to hassle Trump. He will fight back via twitter (mostly) and it will continue to detract from the overall very positive economic news.

- bankrupted several times in business ventures
- sued or faced lawsuits against small business middle-class contractors, bankrupting them
- countless acts of marital infidelity
- sexual assault allegations lawsuit still pending
- racism, historically verified
- consorting with primary adversarial nations
- foot-in-mouth moments galore via Twitter
- etc. etc.

Given his Pandora’s box of self-inflicted bad news, care to recant this BS?

trump is not a politician...he's a businessman. He's done more for the businesses of this country in 18 months than the suffering that went on for 8 years with looney tunes. That's what makes him work for me. He seems to be relentless in doing things that makes things better, going from one nightmare to another. The unraveling he is having to do with all the distractions is really pretty amazing. He's made things better for me without a doubt, where the past 8 years did nothing but stagnate things. well, there you are. that's it. He is trying to get things back on track after that crooked no good nobama shamed about everything he touched. Trump has a lot more things he's bringing to the table and should make things even better. As long as he does that he will be around and not even james can do anything about it. He's keeping it racial...talking about james.

Yep...Trump deification Syndrome.

A bad case of it.

But PT wasn't semi successful.

Thats an absurd observation.

If you never own businesses, you will never have one go bankrupt, so that helps most of the liberals.

The left wasn’t so concerned about sexual assault and infidelity with Bill Clinton. They would vote for him again today if given the opportunity, and the media would write glowing articles about him. You would even brag about how great he is.

The racism claim is just tired.

Obama ran around the world apologizing to other nations and nobody cared. Trump is trying something different.

Nothing wrong at all with people jumping back on Trumpnon Twitter...just be right. This “bishop” was wrong to claim any sort of racism. It’s lame and lazy.

That "bishop" says all manner of inflammatory things. There's an especially cozy place in hell for those types.

It is open to interpretation. When I read it, I didn’t think of racism, but it could be interpreted that way.

Neither you, nor I can read Trumps mind, so we have no way of knowing if the Bishop is on point, way off, or somewhere in between.

One can come to reasonable assumptions based on track record.

But that requires work.

And it removes the political hatchet that exists in a charge of racism.

Lastly, if this discussion is all rooted in that Don Lemon/Lebron tweet, only fools or the politically motivated gloss over the last sentence of the tweet.

How was Trump’s tweet about Lebron even remotely considered racist? Are we really at a point when leftists believe every interaction from a white person to a black person is racism?
Was is racist for Trump to go after the Koch brothers last week? Or was it racist for him to go after Sessions last week? Or was it racist for him to go after several Dem primary candidates last week?
