Syskatine’s Opus

So President Trump doesn't really watch tv, and certainly not a morning news show that mentions him. He just reads. Like Alf, he just constantly informs himself by reading. Any other questions about Roy Moore?

I wonder what the list of obstructing justice looks like in regards to the yoga and wedding emails of your cankled queen...

Let’s do the investigation and find out.....instead of using it to “whatabout” suggest or argue the Mueller’s investigation shouldn’t be done because of Hillary.

Talk talk talk. So charge her. Sic em' Beauregard. (Hint: There's nothing there, she's been the most scrutinized politician in the world.) 7 Benghazi investigations alone but no political will for an investigation? Wolf! Wolf! Wolf!

So what do you think Flynn's testimony is?

I'd like to see an actual investigation of Hillary and company. One that doesn't involve shit like an exoneration statement drafted well before witnesses were interviewed and a secret meeting between the head of the Justice Department and the husband of the investigation target that resulted in the head of the investigation bureau making a prosecutorial decision. Every week the slow drip shows exactly how slimy and incompetent the "investigation" was.

And I didn't suggest or even remotely imply Mueller's investigation shouldn't be done. But thanks for the uh, help, or whatever that was.

As much as you rail on libs for following the narrative and regurgitating the same talking points, you sure do a lot of the same yourself.
Is there zero evidence of obstruction on the part of Hillary? What happened to the 33,000 emails that were destroyed? Do you believe that her email investigation was impartial and expertly handled? Do you agree that nobody is above the law?

What can be done? Clearly the Democratic administration didn't handle the situation well, and clearly the Republican administration isn't fixing the mistakes. What can we do to make justice in DC independent of the flawed human beings that occupy the halls of power. (I swear to god no one better say term limits)

If I had the answer to that question I wouldn't be typing this reply. Don't know. Political appointees are exactly what they sound like, political.

Clearly it isn't perfect, but if we are going to err, I prefer to err on this side of things. If we aren't going to have an impartial system, I'd rather have them being partial to not throwing people in jail. I'm rooting for Trump to survive this Mueller thing.

For me, it depends upon the magnitude of the offense, if any. I don’t want an “AHA! A PARKING OFFENSE!, LOCK HIM UP!”

I'm rooting for Trump to survive this Mueller thing only if he didn't do illegal stuff. If he did, he needs to be held accountable.

The problem in DC is that it is devoid of accountability and transparency. The only way to clean that up is by opening up the books. Every week contains another drip on Hillary, Comey, Lynch, etc. Every week is another drip on Trump's people. Now every damn day is a deluge of some form of harassment accusations in Congress that they get to handle with our taxpayer dollars that we don't get to know about because of something that resides within the, wait for it, Congressional Accountability Act.

Transparency gives us voters the information we need to make decisions. But transparency is a joke in DC as the powers that be hide everything they can to keep us from knowing what shitbags they are.

I have no idea where to go from there, but I do know that our elected leaders and their appointees should be accountable for their actions. Eliminating the ability to keep stuff hidden away from the voting peons seems like a logical start. Punish the law breakers and punish anyone who tries to hide it.

You quoted directly a post about the Mueller/Russia investigation and whatabouted your way straight to Hillary.

So there is that.

Yeah, ok. Not that any new news on the Hillary thing just came or anything. But sure, yeah. I'll do better in the future.

Make sure you wake me up when stuff leaks out that Mueller didn't do his job because of politics and the FBI lied about it.

Everything so far is merely law enforcement squeezing conspirators. Manaforte is the only one that hasn't plead to anything. They have plainly let Flynn skate on quite a bit to get his cooperation for... ?

This looks like a classic, methodical, organized crime investigation. Get subordinate criminals to squeal on their superiors. The conservative squealing about lack of collusion charges is kind of ignoring that elephant in the room.

Or it looks like a political witch hunt. I don’t think we know enough yet to determine where the cookie will crumble.

How does it look like a political witch hunt? If the indictment allegations are true there are plainly crimes that have been committed, and many more have not been charged. Trump literally tried to obstruct the investigation on a national stage.

Yes, yes it does. Quite a departure from the Obama Justice Department, don't you think. This is what it looks like when political interference isn't allowed to exist to serve political interests.

OK. So we start an investigation looking for Russian election collusion. No evidence is discovered (at least that we know of). To the contrary, Flynn makes a phone call to the Russian ambassador in December AFTER THE ELECTION IS OVER, which seemingly disproves election collusion collusion right there. And then lies about it, apparently.

So there’s no crime committed at all until Flynn lies about it. Do we agree on the facts of the case so far?

Anything yet?

What gives? It's almost as if Trump can't find a single field office in the FBI to investigate her. At this point, I think it's safe to assume one of these options:

A. The entire FBI and DOJ is so corrupt that neither the President or the Attorney General can have an actual investigation conducted. No NY FBI field office or U.S. Attorney will cooperate or conduct an investigation. Biff and Beauregard are simply powerless, and are unwilling to confront this corruption among their subordinates.

B. Some FBI field office or one of Biff's appointed U.S. attorney would do what the President of the United States or the Attorney General tells them to, but there's nothing left to investigate. The investigation has been conducted already and no prosecutor finds the basis of a criminal prosecution (stated another way, thinks they can get a conviction).

C. ?

I think it's B. It's a convenient "whatabout" argument to silence critics of the "drain the swamp" narrative and we all know it. If I'm wrong I'd sure like to learn how.

@Medic007 you've gone to ground, my man. Anything yet on the HRC investigation and prosecution?

The OIG is investigating her investigation matter. But you knew that. You'll probably know the status of it when the rest of us do, unless of course you choose to stick your head safely in the sand.

I can only imagine the amateur level shitshow he's waist deep in. The agents that were in charge of it don't strike me as being very bright.

Did you get that Russian infiltration of the Twitter share button figured out yet? You and Tea Pain haven't updated us recently.

what do you guys think you are proving with the anything yet stuff?

is your position that there isn’t an oig report or is it just not going to be a big deal?

Great question. Let's inventory the nurse r/ gop accusations of HRC's crimes. Lots of them. Going back.... 5 years?

Trump-appointed everything running the show and still no charges?

The criticisms are stupid. You've all been duped and nothing is filed. She won't be charged for anything. Conservative, gullible, alarmist, crazy, conspiracy theory #'s 456 - 459 have cratered.

You believed it, too. Probably still do.

I'm surprised at how uninformed you are.

I'm really not, it's more your willingness to show everyone.
