There is much speculation on why Obama is returning to DC on Sunday and then going back to MA on Tuesday. Some speculated it was to make an immigration announcement but the WH denied that's the reason. Last night, some of the talking heads said it could be to announce a Supreme Court vacancy in an attempt to gin up the democrat base for the election. No way the dems could get a new nominee confirmed before the end of the year and they could use the potential of a GOP takeover of the Senate as fear that an ultra liberal justice would not get confirmed by a GOP Senate. Other speculation was that if it were a Supreme Court opening that Eric Holder could get the nomination.
