The same guys who build their hospitals on top of bank vaults used for terrorist money laundering. The same school builders who attach their schools to terrrorist tunnel networks and allocate rooms of the building for the storage of arms and rockets. If you support any arm of Hamas (which you said you did above), then you support Hamas.

Hamas made the decision to operate in high civilian areas for cover and October 7th was their decision. They've yet to surrender arms. All blood is on their hands.

If these so called innocent civilians were truly innocent they would never have celebrated October 7th and they would demand Hamas's surrender. Since we have yet to hear their demands of Hamas's surrender, they are not innocent, they are complicit.
Medic007 just read history of Zionists and how Israel was formed. You would understand the reason for this conflict. To me it is a political conflict not a religious one. Israel is not Jewish people who live there are mostly Jewish.
When I went to Israel in 2000 all the people I interacted with were all atheist with the exception of one. It was of course a minuscule number so no statistical argument could be made out of it but all of them seemed to want peace and a two state solution.
There are radicals on both side and either radicals on both side are put in their place or this conflict would keep killing humans on both sides
The reason there for the conflict is the Arab world initially refused to accept Israel has the right to exist. While some have come around the Muslim hardliners refuse to accept Israel does have the right to exist.

I watched a very good interview with John Fetterman (D Senator, Penn) by a NY Times writer. About half of it was about his support of Israel. I don't think I could state my position on the Middle East crisis any better. I know its not a Hamas propaganda source, and its clearly not a "right-wing" source. In fact, you can tell by the questions that the interviewer didn't agree with Fetterman. But @Ponca Dan , I dare you to watch it. At least to understand the opposite viewpoint from a position other than "Israel = Genocide".

I did find it interesting that he admits he’s made no effort to listen to or understand the “other side.” At least he did that.

You say you agree with everything he said, so let me ask you: he says he has always been for a two state solution but now realizes that cannot happen. So what do you and he think *is* the solution?
The solution is a two-state solution with Palestine becoming a country that AGREES to a two-state solution. Palestine leadership (aka Hamas) is completely against a 2-state solution, because it gives them what they "claim" they want and then all the money dries up. The last thing Hamas wants is peace with Israel.

But for the sake of argument let’s say you and Fetterman are right, which makes a two state solution utterly impossible, as he said in the interview. So where does that leave things, what is a “possible” solution? Knowing a two state solution cannot happen what do you propose as a workable compromise?

Eliminate the leadership that prevents the 2-state solution from happening peacefully, which is what Israel is well on their way of doing now. Eventually though, the non-Hamas Palestinians, (you know the one's you care so deeply about), have to take their country back from Hamas. Until they do that, they will always be the WILLING human shields of the Hamas terrorists.

How do you think the Germans would have reacted if the winners of the war carved out a chunk of Germany for the creation of Israel, chased those already living there out of their homes and murdered those that refused to leave and huddled the survivors into a concentration camp run by the new Israelis. In other words eliminate the Zionist leadership that is intent on consuming parts of Lebanon, parts of Syria, parts of Jordan, all of the West Bank and all of Gaza, making it Arab-free so they could consummate their desire for creating Greater Israel? The Netanyahu-led government of Israel that has killed every proposal for a two state solution so they could have it all? Yeah, that would be a good place to start eliminating the roadblocks.
Hamas, hezbollah and Iran don't want a Palestinian State, they want one thing and one thing only and that is to destroy Israel.
