MALOSville

This is subjective and how you place at a different weight doesn’t dictate who the better wrestler is. Because Plott out placed Hamiti at a different weight doesn’t make him the better wrestler. Not to mention, I have reports that Hamiti gets the best of Plott in the room. You’re welcome to your own opinion but it doesn’t make it better than mine.

By the way, I don’t mind what you said but I don’t like how you said it either 😀

You might be the most dense person on the planet?

You are flirting with the stupidest human I’ve dealt with.

Oh, and my reports say you’re wrong,

Just saying, we always talk about how hostile the Iowa board can be. I commented on one of @MALOS posts over there and got that treatment from them. Told them to have a great day. Maybe MALOS is over here because he is tired of all of the nonsense over there. You may not agree with what he is saying but it does not mean we have to be a**es to him.

He has made some valid points on why he thinks Hamiti may be OK State's best wrestler. You do not have to agree with it, but I would say as far as Hamiti and Plott, it is very close. When did Plott really jump to that next level? It was when he did not have to cut weight and bumped up to 184. Honestly at 174, I feel like we were all on the edge of our seats with close matches, when he should have blown them out. And he took some bad losses. We did not get that warm and fuzzy feeling when he stepped on the mat before he bumped up.

I would say that the two are very close in the level of wrestler they are. I would call it a toss up. And with Hamiti not having to cut down to 165 this year, I really think he jumps levels this year and contends for the National title. Some interesting facts on Hamiti that may surprise some of you........................

Referenced Wrestlestat.
15 careers losses/Largest loss was 10-4, to Griffith/12 losses by 3 points or less/All losses came to Top 5 wrestlers, National Champs, or All Americans. (List Below)

David Carr x3
Alex Marinelli x3 (1 by medical forfeit)
Cam Amine x3
Quincy Monday x2
Shane Griffith x2
Mitchell Mesenbrink x1
Izzak Olejnik x1

He’s over here because he’s picking fights…not because he wants to discuss Wrestling. He is your typical Iowa stereotype. He’s part of the nonsense, not tired of it. Trust me on that one.

I for one, don’t want him here. He’s trouble waiting to happen.

I would disagree. The guy has tried to joke around, has contributed to some good wrestling talk, and has even put compliments out there. Most of the shots fired have been from people that live here on this forum. But like I have always said to whoever it may be, we can agree to disagree on this topic. It's all good!

This is the problem with society…hear something you don’t like cancel um or don’t try and understand there point of view…not sure there was any malicious intent behind his post. Even if there was don’t let people rustle feathers so easy.
Cool… nothing was deleted or “cancelled” and I didn’t move anything until it started completely over running the pinned HS recruiting thread.

Haha, it’s clear you’re not going to trust me on this one.

I'm here for it. @MALOS - you get your very own thread on a rival's board! Applaud yourself.

Now. You did say something completely wrong. You've "heard" that Hamiti gets the best of Plott. I've seen that bandied about on a couple boards, but no that isn't true.

Hamiti IS a motherfugger for Plott to deal with, because he's so unique - but Plott beats him. The only persons handing out beatings in that room are the coaches. Jimmy smacks up everyone around his weight and DT obviously. Even Hendrickson isn't bulletproof. He makes a LOT of mistakes. Which is amazing for him, because he can't get away with them anymore like he did at Air Force.

Y’all have all the room in the world to cuss and discuss all the ridiculous stuff MALOS can dream up.
A Town, you’re a class act. I have been following this thread longer than most — before the Taylor era. I never made a comment until someone on here said how delusional I was for posting on the Iowa board that I am happy taking second as long as ISU and Okie State didn’t pass Iowa up. That could not be further from the truth.

I will not be causing trouble on the board regardless of what Chase Pollard — I guess he will have to be wrong twice — with this and that Hamiti is the best wrestler on the team.

BTW, I think Caliendo is the best wrestler on the Iowa team — I feel he is better than Buchanan who has better accolades. Both transfers. I call it how I see it.

Let me guess one of your old Iowa teammates told you about what goes on in the Oklahoma st room 😂😂

I assume this is directed at vhsalum who lied about wrestling for Iowa. I actually supported him over on the Hawkeye board so it shows how desperate he is for attention.

And, even though I never claimed to wrestle for Iowa — I have heard from a friend’s son in the room that Hamiti gets the best of Plott (although smaller).

I love being the villain for saying “I believe” one of their wrestlers is better than another. I believe Hamiti is very dynamic and can score from anywhere. He is my favorite wrestler in the country regardless of team and I have never even met the kid. Personally, I think Plott is one dimensional and hopefully, Taylor can get him to open up. He reminds me of Warner — great wrestler but one dimensional. Warner is a rider and that’s really all he’s got. Love the kid but it doesn’t change the facts.

LOL. Desperate for attention because I refute what you've heard?

Feel free to ask @AtownPoke - I have great sources for okiest wrestling. I used to for Iowa, but hey, people come and go.

We need a nutty villain here to make things interesting. We now have that in Malos

Im not kidding when I say I like your opinions on here. This doesn’t need to be an echo chamber. I just want it to be put out there in a way that isn’t troll bait. I think we’re on the same page now though so here’s to smooth sailing

So, what do your sources say about when Hamiti showed up and wrestled Plott to 100? Let’s see how good your sources are.

Ok. So yeah. i know exactly what you're talking about. This story has been mis-told on a few boards.

This was after a particular incident that set DT and the coaching staff off. Wanted to make sure everyone was there for the right reasons, and what had been a relatively "less live" practice structure got switched up IMMEDIATELY.

So first of all - it was first to 50. And Plott and Hamiti were the last ones left. And they didn't get to 50. It was back and forth and even. Which set Plott off considering he's the bigger guy. They never finished the go.

I can get with this type of discussion! I don't mind being wrong, in these two cases, it benefits my wants if I am.

1. If Hamiti is better than Plott and makes the finals, OSU is the much more ahead of Iowa in March.
2. I've wanted this board more active for a decade, that's happening and you being valuable discussion partner, with a little bit of snarky with no blow-ups helps that!

BTW, I don't think Buchanan is that great either, but he does profit!

Moved all the non HS recruiting talk about Plott and Dean over here

Hamiti is so dynamic and can score from anywhere. Plott has to attack the right leg — single or high crotch. I feel Hamiti has a lot more potential although he is at a much tougher weight.

As for making the finals barring injuries — I think Hamiti has the best chances followed by Spratley. Call me crazy but Spratley can go 0-2 at Nationals or make the Finals — there is so much parity at 125 that anyone can beat anyone on any given day. Hopefully, Spratley shows up.

You see, as long as Okie State loses to Iowa but beats the hell out of Iowa State — I am a fan.

It’s funny you’ve been humiliated on the Hawkeye board for lying and now you need to come over here for support.

Foca has been Plott in college if that counts as a data point.
SO JUICY! Peak internet drama in the best way. I have no idea if it's still going on but I followed it for a week or so and it was pretty funny.

125 is such an odd weight. Noto will be back at 125 soon

Reminds me of the time early in the Cael era at PSU when he was pissed that guys were having trouble getting out from bottom. So one time practice didn't end until every starter could get out from bottom. Quentin Wright took 45 minutes to get out from bottom. I think he was wrestling Matt Brown.
