I love crappie. I was never wild about the trout I caught in northern Labrador.
Be careful. I hear that’s a dangerous sport.
Bull sharks can and sometimes visit the Mississippi River and Lake Ponchartrain. Ponchartrain has the longest continuous over water bridge in the world. My 1 millionth and 1 visit to New Awleens I finally crossed the 23 mile north-south bridge.
The finest fried chicken (Church's) in the land was at a Pilot Truck Stop near Baton Rouge. Been replaced by a rot gut Subway. Ugh!!!

Would he use live shiners? Seems like that’s all they’ll hit in Louisiana. Friend’s son lucked out and caught one using night crawlers from a dock in the early evening once.
Minnows. Is live shiners minnows? Sometimes 1 minnow would catch several crappie. He would fish off a wooden dock with a light buld near the surface.
