Sure there was a coup attempt, but these few children put in harms way by their parents and no one else is the issue they want everyone talking about.
Here is what I believe.
Neither the Trumpets/MAGA crowd nor the Shumerites/Left give a crap about these children one way or the other. They are both using them as mid-term pawns to advance their selected narratives and counter-narratives. There is no law that mandates removal of these children as Trump is claimed. There is no good excuse for Schumer refusing to use checks and balances and mandate that they not be removed by legislative enactment which would call Trump’s bluff that Congress is to blame for this situation because of a law they passed.

And I’m seeing crap tons of “the media” aping and endorsing Trump’s narrative as well as Shumer’s. The days of distinguishing between MSM and “alternate” media (the types of places and people routinely cited by NZ/Guns/Headhunter/etc.) is dead in my book. They are all just media to me. Pretty much, the huge ass downside of that is it forces people to take sides on an issue everyone agrees on.
That can be applied to most things on our political radar. We just keep recycling arguments and topics while the people put in place to fix this just stoke animosity and don't fix anything.

I agree that media and alt media are now indistinguishable, but I'm not going to paint with as broad a stroke as you appear to regarding people pushing a narrative. Everything is situational ....and worthy of scrutiny.
When an alternative site, CNN, or the NYT so easily prints something that it knows is a misrepresentation of reality, the paradigm is now buyer beware. Consume news/narrative at your own peril. Unfortunately, this only sets up echo chambers on all sides for people to pick up what news they want to. "Trump hates little kids in this new practice by government?" We got a story for that...

I don’t believe there is an organized elite pedo ring amongst the highest levels of government as advanced and hinted at by NZ and Pizzagate and whatnot. Nor do I believe that there is an active cover-up of such things by the corporate media as also hinted or advanced by these repeated posts of NZ asking why these local ICAC actions aren’t reported more widely on a national level.
Pedophile rings do exist. Child porn rings do exist. Pedophile rings where children are passed around are actually pretty rare (not rare enough, though). Child porn rings on the dark web are massive in number and size in my opinion based upon the support I provide to LEO combatting exactly these problems.

And they obviously didn't let those "thoughts and opinions" have any bearing on their conduct. And even if they did, it doesn't matter. We expect our DOJ to be as partisan as possible because what the FBI should care about most is politics.
