Funny though, it seemed to me they know how Cael works and fine with him getting to them when he gets to them. Bo's mom even made a comment about Cael and his recruiting time table.. Interesting stuff. I think DT is playing it like his mentor and gave a great reason as to why he waited..
Cael waiting a day to get ahold of top recruits is 1 thing with his success but David Taylor doing that with no coaching success yet may be another. Time will tell. I hope it works because as I said that 2026 recruiting class will be very important.
The only way Bassett ends up at Michigan is if he is solely out for the money. Their coaching is abysmal.
I hope we had no recruits in for the game today as Utah has schooled us will end up with the ball about 40 minutes of a 60 minute game.
Or maybe the recruits think I can be the star athlete of this campus
To be fair a number of us knew our team was trash, can’t wait for wrestling to get here so I have something I can believe in.
Teams
Take a look at which college teams are bringing in the best high school recruits.
By waiting a day, it makes you call stand out. If I am getting a bunch of calls, one on top of the other, it would be hard to keep them straight and remember who said what or take anything away of significance. Also, it puts you in more of the driver's seat. It seems a bit kiss assy and desperate or gimmicky to call at midnight.
In a world where kids think the world revolves around them - making them wait a bit seems like setting the right tone. JMHO
I actually saw Coach Taylor walking around the tailgates with what looked like recruits. I never got a good look so I couldn’t tell who it was. Frankly I don’t know what a lot of them look like anyway.

No one is worried about Tom going anywhere (cuz he isn't). He has the backing of the administration and the boosters. He'll step down when he wants.
Couldn't have said it better myself. I love Bormet - but man. The rest of his coaching staff leaves so much to be desired.

Ha! They were walking away as I was walking up so it wouldn't have done any good. Usually you center big recruiting weekends around big football games so I would be floored if it wasn't a big recruiting weekend. All that being said, if any blue chippers were in Stillwater I'm surprised it hasn't leaked out by now.
Even if you don't have a phone or camera, you could have tackled one of them and gotten arrested. The names of the bystanders would be in the arrest report, and then we'd know who they were. Very disappointed that you couldn't see fit to take one for the team.
They were too good to be tackled according to the reports I heard. They should have played in the football game and maybe we would have had a chance. Several of them were speaking Japanese and Russian. You could tell the Japanese as they were taking photos of the fans. The Russians also tried but were stopped by Men in black suits.
You guys need to play more difficult opponents like PSU does. We played Our Lady of Merciful Hearts, and won 58-0. 718 yards rushing (a new record). Held the ladies to under 100 yards total offense. Only a few of the girls were hospitalized but the important thing is we shut them out
Michael Mocco was at the game. After that performance, I bet he committed.

I either heard or possibly dreamed that Marcus Blaze was at the game. He looked at the other recruits and was heard to exclaim, "Oh,No" but others were saying he said Ono.

Someone had a post that had Dee and Marcus as two wrestlers who will be dawgs in college. Dee re-posted it with maybe we should wrestle together in college.
Jax can post 10 schools but if it's anyone other than OSU and maybe PSU as an outside shot, it's an upset.
I know nothing but what about Ohio State? My guess is Coleman won't be at Ohio State long but I know him and Jax seem incredibly close.

It just seems like Ohio State is working Bo and Blaze to death. Especially Blaze. Less so Jax.
