If I had to bet there are still quite a few things to shake out due to Perry. That said, the “no contact” bit tells you all you need to know. The destination is either set or the negotiations are still on going from the handlers perspective.

You sign Perry you get CC. Hell of a job pitch.
But if you the HC hire Perry to gain CC, aren't you acknowledging that you have less control of CC's actions/training regime than Perry does? How is that acceptable? Perry has screwed a HC and university before so do you want that person in your room if you try to exert control over CC? Strange situation and I'm not at all sure that it turns out well for Perry and CC.

Is Metcalf getting recruited over? I'm for it if they make good decisions when they dual with Iowa. Should have won last year.
Getting CC gives them a shot again this year. Last year was their golden opportunity and they floundered it, Iowa loses 4 starters to gambling and ISU got an upset (at the time) early in the dual + Iowa was wrestling PK fresh off knee surgery with no lungs up a weight, and their true freshman up a weight.

Agreed. All it takes is pissing Perry off then him and CC walk.
Some of the stories I have heard of Perry are a horrible look. Missing practices for no reason, drinking at bars with athletes, not to mention almost costing our best athlete his career at one point.

Chris did a good job in recruiting. Somehow he thought he would have a chance at the head job before Coleman came in. He needed to get his dad under control telling everybody he should be. It does seem he needs to discipline himself in a few ways.
@smalls103 I think you should set it straight because you’d probably do much more good than bad by speaking up. It seems to be the prevalent story coming out of Stillwater

Perry was the super fun coach take that for how you want to but discipline and Accountability have not been important at OSU’ for a good bit.
Definitely more to the story than what is out there. I’ve heard from a pretty reliable source that Fix took a drink out of something Perry gave him. With the lifestyle that Perry lives he is not suited to be a successful college coach. There is no delusion in that. People who have been around him everyday the past couple years would agree.
