There are two parties involved. Either one of them can surrender any time it wants. Considering Israel has one of the most potent militaries in the world using the most sophisticated weaponry there is, coupled with one of the most competent non-uniformed spying organizations utilizing the latest technology available to humanity, with an army of several hundred thousand troops coupled with an array of tanks that can take down buildings with one shot, and Hamas has none of that it would be pretty stupid for Israel to surrender. But it could if it wanted to.

Either you’re right that Hamas (not Palestinians) are completely whacked out insane and have no desire to do anything but kill Jews, or they realize they no longer have anything to resist because Israel is done with them, so now they need to set about with different priorities. That’s opposed to your solution, at least as I understand it, that every Palestinian everywhere has no goals in life beyond the lust to murder Jews and the only akternative Israel has is to murder them back and don’t stop murdering them until there aren’t any left or there are so few of them they can be rounded up and shuffled off to a tent city in the desert and call it a reservation the same way America did with its Indian population.
