I guess my point Dan is not that racism exists (although it does), its that it did exist and the effects are still felt today and it is born out in the differences in opportunity between white and black people as demonstrated by the wealth and income gaps. You are good with inequality of opportunity as long as it can't be traced to present day racism?

I’d be very curious what extra government intervention you would recommend, and your understanding of why you think those interventions would work when virtually every other intervention has only made things worse.

Let’s suppose you get everything you asked for. Can you explain how that will produce economic equality? And what would be the time frame? How quickly would income equality come to fruition? Is there a line of succession: banning private schools created “x” which lead to “y” and on down the line until all incomes are equal? I noticed you mentioned nothing about playing the stock market. Aren’t you an active player in that game? Would investors be excluded from the agenda? Would white investors only be allowed to earn as much as black investors? I don’t know enough about genetics to say that, but maybe their choices aren’t bad, they are just different. Maybe some people have kids out of wedlock because they want to.
