Who’s our best wrestler

When do brackets come out for Vegas?

Thursday, December 5, 2024
11:00am-2:00pm PST: Registration, Las Vegas Convention Center, Hall N4

Guessing they won't know who till registration then weighins Fri am.

Didn’t he technically transfer after the semester had started? He may not be eligible until the semester ends, a la Sammy Alvarez last year (if I’m remembering correctly).
He wrestled in the Drury Open attached for UALR as far as I can tell. I have no idea about eligibility rules but just pointing that out. He was also dismissed from the team around August 15. Classes didnt start til Aug 19.

That's didn't make sense to me so I looked at the brackets on Track and he was Unattached

Wrestlestat will list the match regardless if they were unattached or not. The actual bracket will say Unattached
Just FYI; he wrestled five matches, 3 falls, 1 TF and a 14-7 decision for 1st place. True, this was against lesser wrestlers but this is the way you'd expect a quality wrestler to perform in a field like this. I for one am proud of him as a Wrestler from Oklahoma and hope he contiues these efforts.

Spratley, Hamiti and Hendrickson.

Spratley has the look of an assassin in his eyes, looks hungry and determined.

Hamiti is looking like a man on a mission as well

Hendrickson looks like he's wrestling with a chip on his shoulder. He may very well bonus every one not ranked 1 and 2

Assassin isn't quit the word I was looking for but fair enough and I did edit my other post after seeing this in my notifications.

Witcraft is unpredictable. Gets caught as often as he catches guys. Staff probably wants to refine that. I’d rather see Hughes go, last couple of matches he’s been ferocious out there and I like that more than the “who’s getting pinned” roulette.

I hope this is not too far off topic but while researching our wrestlers on this subject I noticed something about our team that seems very unusual.

Has there ever been a team that has had three wrestlers competing at different weights who were all NCAA qualifiers the previous year at the same weight as with Fish, Amine and Hamiti at 165 last year?

I feel like the PSU log jam shuffling has come close to this over the last few years but not sure if 3 from one weight.
