Trump has set a record as President.

He has the lowest 100-day approval rating ratings through his first 100 days of any President in over 64 years.

Good news though, he still maintains support among his most loyal supporters. The rest of America though isn't impressed at all.

And then there is this to show just how bad of a candidate Clinton was/is

lol, what does Clinton have to do with Trump's performance as President? Clinton isn't President, Trump is. And Trump is the one who will be up for re-election come 2020.

Nice try though.

Sure they do. Polls always matter in politics and especially in Washington D.C. A President's approval rating can either help or hinder a President's ability to get things done in D.C.

I didn't say it had anything to do with it. It's just interesting that even though his ratings are horrendous he'd still beat Clinton knowing what we know in the first 100 days. Sorry it doesn't interest you or support your agenda.

Again, why does that matter?

Trump won't be running against Clinton in 2020. Nor will Clinton be on the ballot come 2018. Trump's dismal approval ratings has nothing to do with Clinton.

It does show that according to your premise that republicans have given us the worst president ever and our country would rather have that than the absolutely mind numbing stupidity from your side. Democratic Party should look in the mirror and realize that Donald trump is the result of their failures not some grand kkk marketing ploy by republicans. They won't though and you won't and here we go again with Elizabeth warren versus trump for another unhinged sleaze versus unhinged sleaze campaign.

Let me guess you are predicting trump won't stand a chance in his reelection bid.

Nope. Just noting how the American people disapprove of Trump's performance as President so far. 2020 is a long way off and a lot can happen between now and then.

Heck fire, Trump could even resign before then!

No, doesn't show that at all. Again, Clinton won't be on the ballot come 2020. That is who Trump was able to barely beat in 2016.

btw, lest we forgot, Clinton actually won more votes in 2016 than Trump did. So actually, more Americans voted for Clinton than Trump even in 2016!

Wow intriguing

Yes it does

So tired of that huffpo response. At no point was the majority vote the prize. Never it means nothing. Only morons pointed to that in November so by now you can imagine who is spouting it off. It means nothing. No effort was made for the popular vote by either campaign. Would you like to brag about money raised too?

Again someone in the middle reading your posts wants no part of anything to do with your side. You are just silly and only relevant because republican incompetence keeps you relevant.

Did I ever post that the popular vote got one the White House? Nope. I simply posted that more Americans voted for Clinton than they did Trump. And that is a fact.

I disagree. I think the Democratic Party could easily win enough votes in the "middle" come 2018 and 2020 with the right candidates. Clinton won the popular vote in 2016, and she did so with a lot of baggage. All the Democrats need for 2020 is someone who can appeal to a few more Americans than Clinton did the...and the electoral college is theirs.

It isn't like Trump won in a landslide in 2016. He barely got elected against an unpopular Democrat.

its a fact just like the New York mets had zero birdies at this years masters.

When you are talking about votes and elections, it matters.

Again, given all the negatives Clinton had, she still won more votes than Trump. Just think what a Democrat without the baggage Clinton had could have done in both the popular vote and the electoral college. Or could do come 2020.

What if, but, could have, but .. narrative of losers

And still...Trump has the worst approval ratings in his first 100 days in over 64 years. I know you want to deflect from this, but there it is again.
No deflection, it is fake. Carry on.

Yes, just think about that. Why was Hillary on the ballot? The idiot Democrats are going to have to change their ways to produce results. So far, they've only managed to solidify their stupidity.

Minus the idiot adjective, I agree with you Medic. And I hope they do so in 2020.

Don't forget though...the Democrats won in 2008 and 2012. And they almost won in 2016 with a flawed candidate.

The entirety of the DNC are idiots. That's who I'm referring to. They could have won the last election if they didn't prefill the candidate spot with that flawed candidate. That was a decision made by political elites for a political elite and it was absolutely idiotic. The Dems need to refocus on the groups that have made the party successful in the past. Right now, the Republicans are killing it with those voters who feel the Democratic party has shifted too far left.

While I don't disagree that many at the DNC preferred Clinton or that the Democratic elites preferred Clinton, in the end, it was the Democratic primary voters who gave the nomination to Clinton.

Right now, the Republicans are killing it with those voters who feel the Democratic party has shifted too far left.

The Democratic Party didn't lose the 2016 election because it has shifted "too far to the left." Sanders is to the left of Clinton. Had he won the nomination, he would have defeated Trump. You just posted that the DNC and the Democratic elites preferred Clinton over Sanders. That isn't shifting too far to the left.

Also, again, the Republicans didn't "kill it" with the voters. Clinton, the flawed candidate, won more votes than Trump. Trump was just able to get enough votes in the electoral college. That isn't killing it with the voters.

The Democratic Party lost the electoral college in 2016 because they failed to present a winning message to middle America. The Democrats allowed Trump to pretend that he cares about "regular" Americans and did nothing to combat this. They nominated a candidate with a lot of baggage who was seen as an elitist. It has nothing to do with shifting to the left.

2020 presents an opportunity for the Democrats though. If Trump is running for re-election, he will have a record. And if the Democrats nominate a candidate who can appeal to Americans with real policy solutions to their problems, they will have an excellent shot at taking back the White House.

Winning the popular vote and having a $10 gift card to Starbucks will get you something worth $10 at Starbucks. The only place the popular vote matters is battleground states. Hell, while we are discussing things that are irrelevant, take out CA and NY and trump wins in a landslide.

It isn't irrelevant when one keeps claiming that Trump "killed it" with the voters or that Trump easily beat Clinton with the voters. He didn't. Clinton won more votes than Trump. That isn't killing it with the voters.

And why should we take out CA and NY? They are part of the United States. How about we take out Alabama, Mississippi, Idaho, Kansas, Oklahoma, etc.? How would that then work?

CA and NY are just as much a part of America as conservative states.

She didn't win more of the votes that counted.
