The Democrats are in such dire straits in the upcoming election their only hope of retaining power is to create a crisis of such importance the public will be uneasy to change leadership until the crisis passes. What crisis could they cook up to such a degree? Hmm. Let me think for a minute. Manufactured crisis, manufactured crisis, what could it be? Oh, I’ve got an idea of something they could use! How about war with Russia over Ukraine? It would have everything they need: Putin is a monster, Ukraine is a sitting duck unless the US steps in. Russia seeks world domination, determined to enslave us all (even though Newt Gingrich says it’s a third world country). Both Republicans and Democrats would fall all over themselves to be the biggest cheerleaders. And it would only cost tens of thousands of American lives, a price they would be more than willing to pay if it kept them in power. After all none of their lives would be in danger. Not to mention billions or trillions of dollars they could spread among their friends. It would be good for the economy, all the economists say so! No. That’s probably not the crisis they’ll create. It would be too obvious.
