See, my gut level assessment is the opposite. I don't think he did what he did for love of country. Maybe it started that way, but my gut tells me he was working for a foreign government.
I don't disagree for the most part. Trump's incessant whining about the media is terrible. But the media has been just as bad, if not worse. I was appalled at the collusion between the Clinton campaign and some of the media. It isn't the general bias that bothers me on the media side. It's the blatant dishonesty and partisanship some of them have shown that bothers me.
I really, really, really hate to do this to you, but I can't help myself. I tried. Know that I at least tried.

There is one poster here who is an actual attorney that I could pick out of a crowd of nameless posts and I did that very thing on Ghetto Inc many years back. There's another poster here that says he's one, and although he posts some weird shit from time to time, he can actually deliver the goods, so I'm inclined to believe him. You just don't deliver a believable performance. At all.

His knowledge, experience and familiarity with the law and rhetoric are largely consistent with pretty much every other 2L/3L I've encountered in the past 28 years....that's not a slight of him, btw...most of the 3Ls I have dealt with during that time are passably, reasonably intelligent and competent.

Well Trump did get the Mexican leader to say he was willing to look for ways to get the wall paid. Considering the Mexicans have been acting and publicly saying that they would not pay for the wall, that appears to show Trump was negotiating well.
Is that supposed to be analogous to the time Seth Rich leaked the DNC emails, and how we ignore the content of them instead blaming Russia?

There are bits where he begs Nieto to allow him to save face, Trump saying he can fake the wall being paid by Mexico if Nieto will just stop insisting he isn't going to pay for it, referring to himself in the 3rd person, making shit up, all the usual Trumpy stuff.
And of course there is the part at the end of the call that Nieto says he is willing to look fo ways to pay for the wall. Oddly, we don't read about that line in the media.
