Inexcusable.
Most homes went up 30-40 percent ...so people are paying that much more rent theft tax on their homes.

Inflation, Gas, Austin swamp- ran by GOP are freaking killing people trying to make a living.
Taxes are theft- we've been brainwashed. There is a "mirage" if a two party system- they are both globalists. We need people to stand up and say enough of this global theft- happens at all levels -

State taxes are not theft, especially items like property taxes that were voted by the people as the mechanism for funding the state government. If you don't like Texas's state tax laws, you have the right to choose to live in any of the other 49 states where maybe you can find one with tax laws to your personal liking. If you want to argue that federal taxes are illegal alongside federal deficit spending, feel free. But state taxes voted on by the people of that state falls squarely within that state's rights.

I’m challenging mine.

I challenge all of mine last year when they all went up but due to having successfully reduced our taxes over the years we were well below other properties in the area. It sucked we were not able to reduce the taxes but it's good to know I'm not paying as much as others.

Just wondering if you've ever posted on this forum about 'backing the blue" or supporting police and firefighters? If so, your post is completely hypocritical. If you are against all government services, then so be it, but I thought libertarianism to the point of anarchy was more of a @Ponca Dan position.

We are getting a double whammy in Texas, mine was last year. WIth property values rising we get hit with that and any increase in tax rates that have been approved by the voters. What pisses me off is all of my rentals are in counties where i do not live and I have no ability to vote. Seems like taxation without representation to me.

Grandson got murdered. Last year he bought a 2009 house that set vacant for 4 years for $375,000. This year tax assessor upped him to $800,000.

He went to the informal hearing and told a young female Texas law says you can only increase me 10% per year. The chick said your homestead exemption didn't count last year because you weren't in the house on Jan. 1 and you're not a veteran.

Grandson asked to see a supervisor. He told her the house was a dump and he has made only minor improvements. She asked for pictures. He showed some. She said she needed much more recent. He offered to buy both lunch and he would take both for a picture taking tour at his house. The supervisor said she'll leave his appraisal at $375,000 for this year because they weren't allowed to tour houses. He'll be way up in his forties before they can get to $800,000 at 10% per year.

Yes bc its all working so well right now? Hospitals make money, they're mostly private already,

schools - take them off the govt ran and they're private So no worries there, home school is good also, universities make
Tons off of kids so they can cut the fat at the top- no need to have Prez making half a mill while over pricing woke teachings...no taxes to universities, , No more welfare- churches and communities take care of the needy?

Fed and states are like all other entities- they can't spend money they don't make. They can use the POst office, have restaurants,
Car washes I could care less, fund raise et al.

Watch how quick they cut the fat. It's not their money they are taking- they HAVE TO make their own. But they can't infringe on our rights to do it- that would be the only problem. Pay their workers to make their money. As far as Congress/senate- No servant gets paid- it's voluntary, no retirement, use zoom calls where WTP are involved in EVERY decision. Pancake supper fundraisers, raffles, DC Vegas can happen but the HUGE HUGE way overgrown behemoth of fed and even Austin Tx HAVE TO BE CULLED, Trimmed and "rethunk"
