JW has serious upside (would argue he has the highest upside among anyone that could go at 149/157…would say he and Hughes have the highest upside if you include 141 in the conversation); him reaching his potential is a huge key in the near term.

Guys the ONLY reason Jamison will go 141 is because that's what the team needs him to do. Tagen is a quiet easy going kid that gets along with everyone. Right now hes walking around mid 160s and his strength is somewhere between Danny Hodge and Jesus. The plan for him with the previous coaches was to bump up to 149 and JW go 157. This happened after Tagen got up around 155 or so and one of the coaches wrestled him and quickly realized that he was a completely different animal when he wasnt sucked down.

From what I understand the new staff thinks pretty highly of him as well and are impressed with his strength. Jamison needs to stay healthy and add a few things to his arsenal but he's all in and if hes 149 I definitely think he AAs.

Strange thing about this seems to be that lifting generally seems easier than hard wrestling practice, in my view, and strength is the obvious missing ingredient for JW. Hopefully gains some self-awareness or some is presented to him.

thing about wrestling is self awareness is presented to you when you toe the line and for jordan it takes an AA to show him his shortcomings
