If that comment was from an Oklahoma staffer from their page program you would have all the libs up in arms over another drummed up controversy.Meanwhile, we had a Supreme Court Justice who called Lindsey Graham a woman today. While that designation would seem to be at least partially true on most given days, it's quite obvious that Lindsey Graham was more than likely born with a set, it's just anybody's guess what happened to it since the day of his birth. Anyway, if Spicer needs replaced then hopefully President Trump gets to work replacing Granny Ginsburg ASAP.
How many pundits do we hear make a Hitler comparison? It was bad on Spicer but the press on this is way over the top.
Honestly, I am not a Spicer fan, but he has a tough job. Major media companies have become anti-Trump. CNN is downright unprofessional and the plain janes of the world don't get they are gettting extremely biased news
How many pundits have the title "White House Press Secretary"?
His job is to communicate clearly with the media/public. Stop making excuses for his incompetence.
He screwed up badly, and he is being called out on it. And he keeps doing it. Give me a break with "he has a tough job". It is not that tough to think before you speak, or to plan before you get up to make a statement. It is called "his job".
He screwed up badly??? You mean so bad that CNN would have 5 different headlines and the House Minority Leader would call for him to be fired? Sorry but a minor misstatement is not nearly on par with this politically based false controversy.
Was there any controversy when a Josh Earnest said that the Benghazi was just "intended to tear down Clinton's poll numbers"? Or when he referred to fighting ISIS as "just a narrative"? Or did Pelosi call on him to be fired when he slipped and said "China was engaged in malicious cyber activity to destabilize our political system"? Or when he called Yemen "a success story"? Or when Earnest double down on Obama's claim of ISIS being a JV team because "that has not been proven to be false".
This.

Why not Perino? She would be much better than Ann Coulter. Ann would be female Sean Spicer... spewing controversy. Perino may not be a Trump fan boy (or girl) but she knows how to do the job.
Ok... Yeah you can have Cernovich instead of Spicey!!!!!
Keep Spicey then...I don't think that would go as well as you think it would. But I agree with JD. This job needs to go to a boring news reader.
Come on man, don't start going all conventional/reasonable/Presidential on me now...

When you KNOW the mainstream media is against you, you absolutely....postively....cannot not give them easy wins like this.
They are all about ratings. You can't make statements guaranteed to give them ratings.
Bland....vanilla....always on message....accountant like in it's boringness. That is what is needed.
Left-wingers reluctantly, if ever, step down or apologize. And they reluctantly, if ever, give up power. They know how to get and keep power -- with an iron fist.
Trump is doing fine marginalizing himself. No help required. The MSM didn't create Trump and it can't, therefore, bring him down. Screw em.
Spicer is the only thing that buys Trump any space. All the bluster and bullshit momentarily shifts the gravity of the MSM focus. I don't think anything he says isn't measured for effect.

Uh. Yeah. Right.
Spicer certainly hasn't performed very well, and this may be the last straw for him in his role, but I'm tired of media screaming "fire the guy" everytime someone they don't like make any type of gaff. If we fired every Washington hack the moment they said something stupid, the average DCer would be employed about 3 months.
Bullshit. We don't even hold presidents to such standards. It's not like he set the terrorist state of Iran on a pathway to possessing and using nuclear weapons, or proclaiming to Russia he could help it more after the inconvenience of reelection was over, or proclaiming such nonsense as...He's the White House Press Secretary. This isn't about the media having it out for him. This is about him not showing that he is qualified to live up to his job description.

I laugh when I think the left has been reduced to taking potshots at various members of the Trump Administration
Yeah, Jay Carney, Obama's press secretary, was always so polished, smooth, correct and on message. Keep yappin'.I would forgive an idiotic statement, by the president, before I would forgive one from the guy who has "don't say idiotic things" in his job description.
The president shouldn't say ridiculous things either (be it Obama, Trump, or anyone else). Especially when he is reading a prepared speech/statement. But, "it was a gaff" is no excuse for the WH Press Secretary. In this case, he stood in front of a microphone and said something moronic all on his own. He had plenty of time to plan what he was going to say. No one tricked him into saying it. No one asked him a question that he was not prepared to answer.
