Man, not to harp too much as it's still early in the season, but I can't hardly recall a time OSU only had three guys ranked in what would be AA status.

I'm sure Eddie will turn it on and be ranked higher soon, but I can't see anyone else rising up. Not as of yet.

There haven't been many years.

2009 NCAA tournament had: 125-Blanc-unseeded, 133-Notte-unseeded, 141-Parks-unseeded, 149-no qualifier, 157-Erisman-12th seed, 165-Mason-9 seed, 174-McSpadden-9 seed, 184-McNeil-unseeded, 197-Foster-8 seed, 285-Rosholt-4 seed.

Ended up with only Rosholt as an AA.

Is there going to be any video coverage of this? Seems like there has been in the past.

whats ur thought on this mike. do you think smith just gave some the option to go or do you think they are trying to decide if they need to pull a few red shirts.

You would think we would have to send the starters at 141, 157, 174, 184 and 197 and I'm sure that is who is going. Them young guys like Harding, Marsteller, Blees and Rogers should be there as well (and probably a few others).

That sounds about right and Kyle Crutchmer is hurt so he won't be going, nothing really bad, just needs a little time to heal. Mr Thompson, 133 is about the only weight at this time to think about, can't wait to see how well Chandler Rogers will do against some good D1 wrestlers. He won't have to worry about Alex in this tournament, Stanford #13 and Wyoming #20 has ranked wrestlers at 165 by Flo.

In the preview on Flo they mention the following going. Not sure if there are others.
133: GWH
141: Heil, Magaldo
157: Collica
165: rogers, Blees
184: Boyd
197: Schafer

Anyone know where to get info for either the college or HS tournament? I know college is Sunday, but HS is today and tomorrow. It list Yukon as a participating team. I would like to see who is there in Lewallen's weight. Track only has last years results and the rtoc site doesn't have anything.

April, I was able to pull up the list of high school teams with this link, http://rtoc.net/high-school-competition-agreement/.
I hope this helps. Looking at the list which is a long one I notice that Norman North, Sallisaw, Stillwell and Yukon are all in the tournament this year. There are 100 high school teams entered.

Clovis and Poway, California are in the tournament and ranked in the top ten. Easton, Pa. another perennial power is also in the tournament.

Brackets at 138 pounds are up and Boo Lewallen is seeded #1. Alex Rich from Crescent Valley is the #2 seed. The competition has started and it is live on Flo. The arena on Flo for those that have Flo Pro shows all of the brackets, etc.

Some results from the tournament so far:
138 Lewallen 1st round fall He wrestles Coy Beasley from Eagle in 2nd round.
145 Gabe Taylor Sallisaw 3-1 victory
152 Wyatt Sheets 1st round fall
160 Hunter Sconce Yukon fall
170 Hayden Hansen Norman North fall
195 Colton Columbus Yukon Fall
285 Gage Johnson Norman North fall
106 Jakob Houston Norman North tf
113 Zane Taylor Yukon fall
120 Jet Taylor Sallisaw 7-2 win
Chase Ballew Yukon tf
126 Sam Avant Norman North 7-0 Jaxen Gilmore Yukon tf
132 Chase Vincent Yukon pigtail rd fall 1st round 13-4 MD

2nd round results thru 138:
113 Zane Tahylor 17-1 tf
120 Jet Taylor Sallisaw 6-5 dec. Chase Ballew 18-4 MD
126 Sam Avants Norman North 5-4 dec. Jaxen Gilmore Yukon over #7 seed Shea Randall 12-4 md
138 Boo Lewallen 2-0 dec. over Coy Beasley of Eagle. He will wrestle Jacob Montes of Easton in 3rd round.

The 138 bracket initially showed 2-0 win for Lewallen in his 2nd round match but now shows a fall for his 2nd straight pin of the tournament.

Boo Lewallen loses to Montes Easton Pa 7-4 , Wyatt Sheets 3 straight 15-0 tech falls, Jax Gilmore Yukon 4-3 decision for 3-0 record.

GW Harding (133) is going just unattached. The weights are wrong on OSU site. D Hone is a big 141

can we win this tournament with these wrestlers?

this should be interesting.

Boo Lewallen, after being upset in the 3rd round came all the way back to take 3rd at 138.Yukon is in 4th place team wise through 152. Just watched Wyatt sheets win first place at 152 with a 3-0 win. Jaxen Gilmore of Yukon took second place at 126.

Sounds like Tyler Stillwell, Yukon Hwt took first.

What is the deal with the college division. I thought it started today.
