UVU HWT came out firing and I respect the heck out of that, but man oh man I think that just made Hendrickson mad
Lots of hand fighting and snaps but no real committed shots for Spratley or Ricks. 0-0 after 1
2: 2 illegal holds and an escape = 0-3 good guys down. Woah.
3: spratley on another leg but can’t convert. Stall point for Spratley. 1-3. Get the takedown as time expires. 5-3 win. Whew. 24-0

Amine/Barraclough
1: not much action. Feeling each other out. 0-0.
2: Amine down. Barraclough gets a leg in. Rides hard. Goes over a minute RT. Rides him out. Not good.

SV: amine looks less tired but doesn’t go anywhere. Amine shoots about 4 times. Ride outs coming. Not good for Amine
Locked hands on Besrclaw gives Amine 9 seconds to get out for the win. Can’t do it.
Kind of BS locked hands stopped a possible reversal.
38-6 win for the pokes. Mostly really good stuff tho.

I’ll tell y’all what. You can tell Barraclaugh did not spend his whole career at UVU because he wrestles an entirely different style than anyone else on their roster.
I’ll take Amine in that rematch.
Barraclough does not impress me. He did absolutely nothing but ride. He has no offense. Stall machine.
Damn. Tough way to lose a match. Hope the staff knows what adjustments to make for the rematch(es).

Somehow I had both feeds which really pissed me off. Specially at half time where I had Rex talking in Stereo from the 2 interviews going simultaneously. Overall a very good win. I doubt Jamison even made the trip. Burton only a freshman but was no match for #26 Haiden Drury. Bottom half of our lineup is scary good. Double OT loss for Amine who had the only takedown and Barraclough locked his hands at the end and got away with it.
Spratley does not wrestle smart sometimes and tonight almost lost a match that should not have been that close. He did pull out the match with a takedown at the end of the match. 2 clasping penalty points was very foolish. Witcraft has a nice throw and then catching a weak shot and put his opponent on his back for the pin. Good match. Burton tried but is not good and likely will never be a starter. Carter came back nicely after losing a takedown. He ended up teching his opponent who wasn't good and got broken. Travis did not wrestle good but beat a freshman. Amine doesn't have enough offense( couldn't ride or escape) and needed a take down or he was going to lose and he lost. Wrestled like he did at Michigan. Hamiti and Plott were dominant and good winning each by tech. Surber was good and won by pin. Hendrickson won by tech. Early in the season and what I see is we have a much better team than last year, but I don't see great development yet
Pretty sure I saw Tagen sitting behind the bench. Wouldn't be surprised to see him wrestle on Sunday.
Jamison and Hughes need to be in the lineup on Sunday.
I think they’re saving Hughes and Jamison for Sunday. Working there way down to the weight and making it once v twice…overall good showing but not much has changed with a few
