What a silly law. It acts as if Congress thinks it can stop the surveillance state with its words. Sorry, guys, you’re too late, your corruption no longer matters to our true overseers.
The way you stop them is to let the Patriot Act die. Anything else and you would not get the desired result. You will most likely need to prosecute some agents as well.
Depends on when people want their freedoms back. I would say pretty good, but I still have a ways to go.
