Nice, France 73 killed in terrorist attack.

Yes, you are a dumbass, again. Time and time and time again. You should try to strengthen up that sphincter that lets the diarrhea flow from your head to your fingers.

2014 - total homicides by rifle = 248.

2016 - Nice France number killed by assault truck in one incident (so far) = 84

84/248 = 0.339 or roughly one third.

Dumbass.

And if you look real close, you'll note death by rifle has been DECREASING.

Dumbass.

See, there's a difference between firearm deaths and firearm homicide. Deaths (your first representation) are actually over 30k per year. Homicides are around 12 k. You've commented on the distinction, you're aware of it. You represented the larger sample but presented data from a smaller one. thats not being a dumbass though - just dishonest. Please provide the deaths by rifle as you represented - not homicides. Or change your post. If you delete your post I'll consider letting it go.

The real dumbass move is making the point to begin with, your usual slanted, intellectually dishonest method aside. (Found that electrician to straighten out global warming yet?) So? What fraction of diphtheria deaths would it be? Or folding chair accidents? Or were you just clumsily trying to minimize rifle deaths as opposed to the vast majority of gun OR homicide- related gun deaths? Yes. And you needed to both really nitpick AND deceive to do it. This is what happens when I spend the time to actually read your baloney, you little chickenshit -- an honest, above board debate is frustrated because you lie and spin so damn much. I'll bet your ambulance records are like reading a Philip C. Dick novel.

What the f Does hunting have to do with anything?

but to answer your question. People use things you misidentify as assault rifles to hunt with all the time. Google. <------ Check it out.

Yes, come deer season, the Oklahoma woods are just full of AR-15's and AK 47's. The rest of the time they're in the bedroom, for self defense, to send a .223 through the subdivision at 3000 feet/second. Practical things, those assault weapons. Out of curiosity, how many times have you used yours for self defense or hunting?

I don't live in a subdivision. Not that it matters, Also it's none of your business what I use it for. Also they are used for game animals other than deer. Your ignorance of guns is impressive.

I love it when douchy sjw's make fun of flyover culture. Especially funny when they are alumni of a land grant university in Oklahoma. Your friends probably make fun of your accent when you aren't around.

Reading not your strong point dumbass? I was talking about a comparison between the truck terrorist incident and relation to rifle deaths, and it was all part of mocking you, dumbass.

Of course you know this, but you can't stand when your stupidity is exposed, so you type a novel of usual useless drivel. Your little quip about ambulance records was cute, but we both know you're grasping at this point. I'm not too worried about the opinion of a lawyer that can't comprehend the simplicity of the Second Amendment.

Don't like to be mocked? Don't act like a little whiny bitch. Don't like your stupidity being called out? Don't post like an idiot.

Speaking of dishonesty, Mr. 30 Guns...

Oh, you were mocking? You went and looked up some stats, for like, a casual-but-statistically-researched little joke? Ha! Good one!

Come on -- don't hide it under a bushel. What "game animals other than deer" do you use your AR for? Snipe?

Oh yeah -- those FBI stats.... aren't those compiled by people that work for the gub'mint? You know, people with agendas? We've covered this, haven't we?

I don't want to see statistics from the government -- you've very articulately described how we can't believe anything that comes from the government because they just want to protect their jobs and have too many agendas. Now wiggle out of your own batshit crazy thinking...

I don't hunt. And I don't have to explain any of my property to you. It's funny though when you think you are on the trail of a good point, speaking of snipe.

Trust me. Someone who does hunt with an AR for common Oklahoma game animals will probably be happy to explain it to you.

Mine is mainly for shooting someone in the face.

Others have posted the number here before, Retardasaurus Rex. And yes little lady, I was mocking your continuous whiny-assed shrill "OH MY GAWD ASSAULT RIFLES!" menstruations. I think I'll start calling you Menstrual Poet.

Got anything else of notable dumbassery to share?

Says the dipshit who thinks government funding can't cause bias in research. Next.

Anybody that has 30 guns understands why an AR-15 would be part of the collection. I'm beginning to think you lied about that.

Enlighten me since Mega can't. It's for hunting a game animal? Are you so fiercely resistant to gun control because you're afraid you can't spray a few rounds down in the creek? Shooting hogs? What?

When a lefty Black Lives Matter mob comes to my door I don't want a deer rifle with which to rid myself of the pestilence. An AR-15 might just be the trick. They also work well with Muslim mobs and terrorists. I watched a great movie the other night where people didn't have such guns. It was called Schindler's List.

Syskatine you ignorant slut. If liberals are so smart and efficient at government why don't you get guns out of the hands of bad people and the rest of us will start to consider an argument for what is appropriate for civilians. Until your wards of the state stop robbing killing and raping at gunpoint don't even bring it up. You are not going to disarm law abiding citizens while the criminal element stays constant since obviously new laws would not affect gun ratios for people already ignoring them. Get a grip and live in reality instead of the made up utopia you people naively fantasize about.

I fail to see why any reason other than "because I want one" is necessary.

Are we free men or not? Do we really want to live in an ordered society where government is the ultimate arbiter of freedom? Can one who advocates for an ordered society truly claim to be a proponent of freedom; economically or individually? How can a man be both free and suppressed at the same time?

Wait, what? syskatine lied about having 30 guns? Shocking! I remember the post where he told us he was just like the rest of us gun owners with his fantastic collection of firearms, but he was like, more civilized or something.

I'm shocked I tell you. All this time I have spent grappling with the idea that somebody so pro gun could be so anti gun is apparently all for nothing.

You'd think at some point he'd start using all this effort aimed at a topic he's more knowledge about and where he isn't so widely discredited.

Watching him talk "gun control" with you fellas exhausts me. Sys, new material or evolve.

I suggest anyone who thinks "no one needs an AR-15" to watch footage of the 1992 LA riots and the South Koreans preventing their businesses from being burned down and looted by the degenerates.

They also need to add up all the deaths from AR 15's since.

I would love to see that list. I dare you to find that info and post it.

After that I'd like to see how many people have been killed by the U.S. government with the military equivalent (M16-M4) all over the world since 1992. Let's just go ahead and see who's the larger threat to life. Syskatine's government, that is apparently well conscienced enough to have a monopoly on the ownership of guns but not enough so that it can administer the death penalty after due process was afforded; or the individual who is so irresponsible, careless, and full of bad intentions he cannot possibly be trusted to responsibly own guns.

It must be easy to find. Since it's such an eminent threat to our say to you that we need to outlaw it.
Well, rifle homicides accounted for 248 deaths in 2014. That's out of 319,000,000 people. Rifles were such a HUGE THREAT that they killed 0.0000007774 of the population. Holy shit! And rifles accounted for 3% of the total gun murders in 2014! Holy shit! I'll bet 338,000 of those 248 murders by rifle were done with the weapon of war AR15s, equalling 1,363%. Ban them and we'll save hundreds of millions of lives!!!!!!!!

I never understood how people who make this argument always are the same ones who are throw it in your face how abortion should be readily available simply because women want them.

Don't ask why people to justify gun ownership or get down to Planned Parenthood and harrass every woman that walks in.
