Gabe also certed at 174 and then decided to stay at 184. Cutting down and not winning the spot and going back up was something he didn't want to do obviously. I think we see him at 79kg (174) this summer for freestyle

He actually wrestles tonight he has a tough one Mosher from Hofstra is ok he's 11-8 and has a win against #17 Mayfield NW . And Anthony isn't a big 165 by any means

I think it comes down to what the rest of the team looks like. With a roster like Harley put together with no transfers Dee should absolutely redshirt. If we get a couple hammers at the weights I mentioned but have 165 open I think he wrestles.

I think Dee is a difference maker possibly winning multiple National Championships. Most wrestlers you can replace as our recruiting grows but Lockett is rare and so you do not want to waste a year of his eligibility with no chance for the team to do well.

We have a better chance of seeing AJ at ISU then we do at Iowa 😉
