would be really interesting to see Starocci go 184 where he has Keck and Plott as opposed to 197 where there is nobody to challenge him

I love Plott, but unless Plott gets a LOT better. He will not challenge Starocci.
I know Plott is an ultra competitive guy but there is just no reason to go this year. Terrible idea
He’s a competitor and doesn’t want to duck guys. Right or wrong, he thinks he can beat Keck and wants to give it another go. Maybe it’s not worth as much to him if he knows he didn’t beat the best to be the best.
This likely has more to do with getting married & getting on with life, etc.
Mustang I think. Supposedly it’s where she first turned him down on a date. He was getting the last laugh
I do get what you’re saying and he’s obviously his own man; It just isnt a normal situation. Keck is one thing… but Carter having another year and joining in is another.
He’s rolling with DT every day, I think he will be ready. Taylor wants at least one national champ this year and I think he will do whatever it takes to get plott there

If Keck only beat Plott by 2-3 every match last year, I would say that coaching might make a difference. Getting majored every time doesn’t give me much hope that coaching can make up that deficit.
That and as much as I wish he would… Keck probably isn’t beating Starocci.

He’s going to be fun to watch, hopefully one of his duals this year will be the ISU dual.

I’m going to that dual since it’s in Ames. It’s the #1 match I want to see.
As much as Perry is making me hate ISU wrestling… I might have to make the trip
A lot of good matchups if both wrestle their best one of the more exciting duals next season in my opinion
people laugh at Cael's motto about having fun and dodgeball, but anyone in corporate America has been to kumbaya offsite sessions to build team unity and cohesion. It can't always be about diet, weight room, wrestling room. Rinse. Repeat. If the culture is strict you need to give the guys an outlet to be college kids and have fun. It can't be a Marine boot camp every day.
My son is bidding a huge job up in Iowa. I might be making both the big Iowa duals lol.
The first think Glass ask for when he got to Stillwater was a sand pit. Beach volleyball is a great workout.
To be clear, he wanted a sand pit on a hill.
It is outstanding regarding muscles that aid in joint protection.
That's a big hole. No one really of note. And Williams is SO TALENTED. Sad circumstances for a kid who clearly also needed some mental health help.
Some truly think Carter has the upside. Tagen can definitely stand to go up and he beat JW in the room. I just don’t think Cael is ready for 41 if it goes that way. Hopefully they can get him squared away
Unfortunately he is not yet ready to accept any help.
I would LOVE to see Tagen move up. It definitely looked like he held back in matches a bit last year, not wanting to risk falling off a cliff.
And forgot about Carter Young. No way is he a 149.
Hughes missed weight at JR WTT. So clearly he could go up as well.
I guess there are a lot options. LOL
Travis definitely too big for 149.
