NCAA PORTAL

Very interesting. Clearly they have an idea of where they think everyone fits and that BT has an opportunity somewhere. Personally I'm not sure where that is but you never know how people develop from one year to the next. Maybe they are going to put BT on my eating regime and beef him up to heavyweight :) He should be able to get there by May if he really puts the effort in, two things of ranch with those cheese fries!

Lotta talent in that 165-197 range. Not sure how it’s gonna shake out but a logjam is a good problem to have. I lost the tweet when my TL refreshed, but I saw someone last night claiming that BT never actually hit the portal and it was his dad trying to drum up interest in him. Someone replied claiming the dad is a real piece of work, but I don’t know how true that is and don’t want to throw out unfounded claims about someone.

Actually, lets discuss this. *Caveat being if BT is bought in or the rumors are true that he is just a good kid that likes Wrestling, but doesn't "live" it.

57 - Dee *It really isn't a tough cut for him
57 - Facundo *Only coaches and Facundo know if this was too tough for him?
65 - Facundo *assuming the cut was too much
74 - Ryder
84 - BT or CM
97 - CM or BT

The only one in this list that doesn't absolutely live Wrestling might be BT?

I was told to let it go when I mentioned Dee at 157 more than once so tread carefully! /s

While I don't necessarily disagree, you try telling that to a guy who hasn't had to watch his weight for 4 years.

It’s a different day and age too. More short term vs long term thinking than in the past. It’s fun to think about building depth etc. on paper and everything lining up, the truth is, most are playing for right now.

I agree with this 100%. I personally fall in the "always redshirt" camp as I think the benefit is huge but this decision has no bearing on my life haha
Well, the talk is happening now!

I’m with you on the shirt. Most know how much they matured during that first year. But most weren’t crazy talents either.

The most points roll in March. Hopefully it’s lineup friendly!?
