All he's got to do his keep his 38 to 40 percent of loyal supporters and he can't be defeated because the other 60 percent are fractured and can't coalesce into one opposition.

No, I don't think people who uncritically support Trump no matter what care that he lies to them or lies to the media.
I also don't think people who support Trump support him because of his "agenda".
I don't think he has a coherent agenda beyond promoting himself and keeping that 38% that construes his base worshipping their Beloved Leader.

The comment I left on NZ's post wasn't particularly directly at him though. I realize he is well beyond reacting rationally or critically with regards to anything Trump says or does. It was directed at posters that profess to not be Trumpies like yourself, that have some reservations about his behavior, and/or profess to voting for him because he wasn't Hillary.

I absolutely did and do acknowledge the failings and wrongdoings of the Obama administration and the Clintons. I just evaluate it reasonably and rationally...like I have here... instead of basically deciding the other side is the devil in all things.

I'm sorry, I'm not on twitter, so not sure what Trump's tweets say. As for "what about Clinton", I think in this thread my responses have been solely focused on her as part of the establishment. I also call out Obama, Bush, and the last "dozen" presidents.
As for witch-hunt, I'm sorry but if the best you can present is some half-baked lobbying charges from 5 years ago, and are hoping to use that to 'flip' someone to get more info. My problem with that is that it basically throws out any presumption of innocence. That's the action you perform when you know who the bad guy is and am simply trying to gather solid evidence to do so. So if that's what Mueller is doing, then its lost any pretense to being fact-finding. Its simply a persecution.
The other problem I have is that I have zero trust of the investigators. They are clearly part of the establishment and they've proven for at least my lifetime, that they will lie, cheat, steal, or do anything else to maintain power.

To clarify, I do not place Obama or Hillary as morally superior to Trump. I pretty much think all three of them are calculated, craven politicians in it for themselves.
