I am starting this thread so people can keep track of Moore's and Sheets' state tournaments.

I just checked Sheets profile on track, he has 21 matches, 14 falls, out of the other 7 matches he has 6 TFS where he gave up 1 point total and an 8-0 MD.

I would imagine that if the tournament goes to seed that Sheets will wrestler Dayton Garrett (Tuttle) in the finals. Garrett got a scholarship to West Virginia and is very tough.

If Sheets gets a takedown he is tough on anyone and it extends his time on top. Garrett would probably not choose down. If this match comes down to scoring on their feet I would imagine Garrett has the advantage.

Sheets and garrett in the finals
You can go to trackwrestling for free and look up any state tournament. Daton Fix from Sand Springs wrestling at 126 and the top recruit in the state and one of the top in the country is in the finals after a fall and then a 15-3 major decision in the semis against Drew Wilson of MWC a very good wrestler. Daton's best friend is Kaden Gfeller from Heritage Hall is in the finals after two falls. Sheets is in the finals after a fall and a tech fall. Fix wrestles Dalton Duffield in the finals and Duffield signed with OU.
Sheets wrestles Dayton Garrett of Tuttles who is 41-4. Gfeller is 33-0 and wrestles Jessie Hodge of Jay who is 40-3.

Keep your eyes out for colt newton. Guy is gonna be something special

Wife was at the big house last night and texted me about Newton. I guess he beat Naifeh last night, who's a tough senior kid. Choctaw has built quite a program.

Fix and Gfheller are studs.
Tanner at 132 from Tuttle looked good also

I don't follow recruiting much. Has Gfeller picked a school? I know at one point everyone seemed to feel positive about Fix ending up with the good guys.

Would love to have both of them in Cowboy Orange!
Daton and his dad have been at several OK State duals and Daton has been resplendent in his orange & Black Cowboy regalia. You never can take anything for granted in recruiting but it appears he will be a cowboy in the future. As far as Gfeller goes I have no clue but it would be a great one-two punch at the lower weights.

Would love to see he and Fix both in orange and black but we have to work in a heavyweight so we may not be able to offer both of them enough to bring them to Stillwater.

Yes, Fix is the real deal. It has the potential of being a power packed lower weight lineup with Picc and Brock there next year as freshmen. I'm guessing he would need to redshirt in order to start as a freshman with Heil only being a sophomore this year. Lots of time between now and then....

Fix will not be in orange and black next season . He will still be in high school, he's a junior this year.

I think most people are aware of that but it is hard to believe due to all he has achieved in his young career. It is certainly not too early to get him in the fold.

Yeah I seen gfeller sitting with manning and Powell during dual state, then as I left I seen fix and both Nebraska coaches walking out together.. Hope it doesn't mean much.

Daton Fix will wrestler somewhere and start for four years. I think his recruiting for us will be do we have a contender that would keep him on the bench his redshirt freshman year. Other than that I would imagine he will be a Poke. I am in hopes that he will wrestle at 141 his redshirt freshman year and replace Heil. He may not grow that much and be competing with Kaid Brock at 133.

He has been growing, but not quickly. I see him as a 25/33 as well. I am curious what weight Gfeller ends up, if I remember correctly he was a few weight classes below fix a few years ago.

In two years

125-fix
133-Brock or pic
141-Brock or pic
149-heil
157-smith
165-Rogers

That would be nasty at the first 6 weights.

Fix will probably be a 133/141 I thought that was starting to look realistic after his performance at super 32s

I know that Gfeller has grown quite a bit the past couple of years. Fix has been wrestling up so I thought he had grown, but he is such a stud he could win any of four or five weights in state high school.
