Iowa

I think Spratley majors Cruz
Ayala may major Reece
We really need a major at 141
Has Parco majored anyone this year? Every dual I’ve watched he has won by decision.
Not feeling great about 157 now.
Has Caliendo wrestled Cam before? Assume they did last year.
Has Hamiti ever wrestled Kennedy before?
184 could be tough
I think Luke surprises but Buchanan has been impressive this year.
I think Wyatt gets the pin here.
125: 4-0
133: 4-4
141: 8-4
149: 8-7
157: 8-10
165: 8-13
174: 12-13
184: 15-13
197: 15-16
285: 21-16

125: Spratley tech 5-0 I see this going like the LL match for Cruz
133: Ayala major 5-4 Need offense from Drake here and I expect that
141: Tagen dec 8-4 Cullan doesn’t get bonused a lot
149: Parco major 8-8 Need Parco to be looking for takedowns and tilts
157: Teemer dec 8-11 I just want to see a takedown in the first period
165: Caliendo dec 8-14 I just want to see a takedown in the first period
174: Hamiti dec 11-14 Hamiti is sharp, too sharp.
184: Plott dec 14-14 I think Angelo has a good shot, but not predicting it
197: Buchanan dec 14-17 Surber has been better this year, coming off a big win, but I expect Buchanan to win handily
285: Wyatt major 18-17 Wyatt does wyatt things

Today is actually Nelson birthday and he's 26. This is his 7th year RS, covid and a medical. That's actually not very old if you look at the ages of kids who take a mission . Oklahoma st had a 28 year old on the team a few years ago. He did 2 years at Oklahoma st then took a mission then did 5 more years. He graduated college 9 years after HS. Matt Brown Penn st graduated college 7 years after HS as well he took a RS then a 2 year mission and then wrestled for 4 years.
Where did Nelson do his mission?

Acting like 7th year guys are rare with the covid year is hilarious. Go back over the last few years and see how many 7th year guys wrestling has had. Van Ness will get 6 he's another injury away from be a 7th year guy without covid.Hone did 7 years at Oklahoma st as well.

Keep that same energy when Nagao is in his 7th year in 2 years . Wyatt Sheets was at Oklahoma st for 7 years as well. Not as uncommon as you think. I know that doesn't fit your narrative but all facts.
What I am saying is that I am not living as vicariously through wrestlers as you are. So that makes me capable of seeing when a guy is fading to black.

I will gladly give $100 to the charity of your choice if Nelson AAs this year. I won't even ask you to return the favor.

I agree with this 100%

I have to be consistent so I can’t give Plott any kudos on this board so here it goes. Plott has a sweet single to his left and a high crotch. Can’t hit a high crotch when Angelo wrestles on his knees. I think Angelo wins it but I like to have a little grace.

Only way Amine beats Caliendo if it’s 1-1 going into overtime. I don’t think Caliendo will play that game — it’s not indicative of his style.

At 174, I have Hamiti by major. Way too good on top and he is wrestling a lot freer at 74.

19-17 Okie State if Plott wins
16-20 Iowa with a Ferrari victory.

Iowa has 5 transfers if you count Cruz and Caliendo. Okie State has 7 if you count Spratley Jamison and Young (NW). So we can drop the transfer bs for this dual.

Imagine how good Minnesota would be this year with Spratley and Jamison. Spratley is better than Flynn and then you can fit both Jamison in with VonBaur.

Dude, it literally doesn’t matter. Why argue on stuff that can’t be decided?

If OSU could get a year of bidness from DT, TG, TC, BP or John…we would and be okay with it.

We don’t like Iowa, I as a person, actually hate them. But if you trash Wyatt again, I’ll kick you in the nuts.

Boom! We’re doing some of this this wonderful season!

Bets will be had!

lol counting Carter as transfer? Now I have seen it all. Atleast Sprately wrestled few in his RS year, I don’t remember Jamieson wrestling any matches at all in Minnesota.

Anyway who care if Iowa paid money to bring in those transfers. It doesn’t matter in this NIL age anyway.
