What is is is voters accepted him in 2016, he was a breath of fresh air. In 2020 he was unpopular enough that he couldn’t beat one of the weakest opponents the Democrats could have thrown against him. Did the Democrats cheat? Probably. Trump thinks so. Why hasn’t he contested it in court?
In 2022 virtually every Republican he endorsed got their asses handed to them. There can be no recognition other than the voters are worn out by Trump’s schtick. It’s time for the Republicans to pat Trump on the head, send him to the showers and bring in someone from the bullpen that can save the game.

I thought I’d have to, but someone said I could register independent and vote in the Democrat primary.
Trump’s professed policy has always been to insult back harder than he gets insulted. That’s how he thinks a “winner” plays the game. The Democrats knew that and played him like a fiddle, keeping him preoccupied with insulting them worse than they insulted him. Trump makes everything personal. That’s how an autocrat would run a country. He should never have been our president and he should never be our president again. I think he stumbled on the notion of MAGA purely by accident, he threw enough crap on the wall until he found something that resonated. I doubt he could give a 30 minute recitation on what MAGA means. Other Republicans, OTOH, picked up on the concept and put it to good use. But none of that matters if Trump is the nominee. He is viewed negatively by too many voters to win. If you consider yourself to be MAGA Trump is not who you should support.
Maybe rfk jr should jump to maga. What I'm thinking. Manchin threw out a jump to independent but we all know independents go nowhere. Manchin's only hope is GOP as well as rfk jr's political hopes. Not a bad thing my man. 😉

Okay, I’ve said all I can say about this. Trump can’t win. Look for every reason why he should, find every justification you can find that makes him a good guy, and none of it is enough to get him enough votes to win. You can be stubborn, stick with Trump and watch the Democrats run the show through 2028, or you can man up and face the facts and look for someone else to champion. Just remember this: Trump would “betray” your confidence in a heartbeat if he thought it would make him a “winner.” He does not deserve anyone’s undying loyalty. You have to decide whether you should do what’s best for the country or what’s best for one man that has never shown loyalty to anyone but himself. Those are your only options.
