Iowa is totally fed-up with Trump's mean tweets.

Iowa MAGA Republicans seem determined to shoot themselves in the foot. Those fools will give us four more years of Biden all because they are so stupidly stubborn.
Guilty as charged. I’m “stupidly stubborn” about not sending a limp-dick pussy to the White House. Just as in 2016, the Republican field, other than Trump, is proving to be just that.

Your stubbornness is making you see what you want to see. I’m no DeSantis fan, but that man stood up against the left-wing and Democrat opponents with more resolve than Trump ever did. Trump is all talk, big bluster followed by mealy mouthed cowardice. DeSantis kicked ass and took names. But go ahead and give us Trump again and watch him go down in flames as voters reject him for the third time.

Tell 'em, Dan! How is any candidate going to overcome the immense popularity, the stout image, the focused leadership, the clean and sharp oratorical advantage, and absolutely massive domestic and foreign policy successes of President Joe Biden?

You make an excellent point. The voters will be faced with a choice between one candidate that is virtually brain dead vs the other candidate they view with overwhelming contempt and disgust.

How dare you call him brain dead! Look at what Brain Dead has given us:

-- Gravitas recognized by leaders worldwide

-- Peace in Ukraine

-- Record low inflation

— Lowest black unemployment in American history.

— Lowest Hispanic unemployment in American history.

— Lowest female unemployment in decades.

— Stock market going through the roof.

— Record 401(k) gains.

— America energy independent for the first time in decades.

— Record low gasoline prices.

— No new foreign wars.

— Multiple peace treaties signed in Middle East.

— Positive economic headlines on a regular basis.

Give Brain Dead a break!

Every word you say is true. And more voters will choose Biden over Trump in spite of it. The Republicans have potential candidates that would beat Biden like a drum. Trump is not one of those candidates. How many times do they have to tell you they won’t vote for Trump before you’ll believe them? This stubborn determination to ram Trump down voters’ throats will backfire again; they mostly want Trump to go away. For God’s sake send the man packing and save the country from four more years of Democrats. I don’t know if the country can survive four more years of Democrats.

Why do you think it is some people view Trump with contempt and disgust?

I think in large part it is because they know a contemptible and disgusting person when they see one. I think in 2016 his insulting behavior was looked upon as somewhat refreshing after years of Republican meekness. But by 2020 they’d seen enough and did not want to see it anymore. But Trump is what he is. Some people love his demeanor and replicate it in their own lives. Those are the true believers that will proudly sink the American ship if they don’t get their way. Well, that’s what will happen, the American experiment will end on our watch.

Bingo! In addition to Biden's stellar record as prez, he's also nice!

In 42 years I have never sojourned to see the butter cow and have lived through years of IA as a purple state. As the corn 🌽 goes, so does America (usually)
Let’s say you’re right, Trump wins Iowa and Iowa leads the way to a Trump victory in 2024. Then what? Take us through the way Trump guides the country through a renaissance, a return to “normal.” Show us how he will unite the country in a way he was unable in his first term. IMO the man has no clue how to do anything but divide. Show us how as president he will prevent further division.

He didn’t do the dividing Dan.

All the math was done by tthe other side and their toadies in the media.

And they would not deliver the results that Trump did.

Overturning Roe, withdrawal from the Paris accords, and wrecking the Chinese economy are reason enough to vote for Trump.
Every president has occasional “wins” for his side. Trump had as many or more failures as he did victories. It is silly to think Trump was an overall winner at the end of his term. If he had been the victor you have it in your head he was he would not have been so roundly rejected in 2020 and utterly humiliated in 2022. You have to ask and answer this question: are you willing to lose to Biden in 2024 just so you get satisfaction in securing your preferred candidate the Republican nomination? Are you a Trumpist or an American? You can’t be both.

Nonsense. You know better than that. You’re seeing what you want to see. Trump plays the dividing game better than anybody.
This! No one unites like Biden! Got to be united! Respected, accomplished, presidential with out-of-this-world domestic and foreign policy successes and -- uniter! Just like all those uniting prez's before him!

You’re gonna believe what you want to believe. I can think of no sitting president that has been as vulnerable to reelection defeat as is Joe Biden. One would think Micky Mouse could beat him in 2024. IMO Trump can’t beat him. Feel free to call that TDS if you want.

Trump won soundly on Election Day, took an extra two weeks and 4 or 5 shady precincts for Brandon to prevail
It took what it took but Brandon prevailed. I don’t like it any better than you. But 2020 happened. Then 2022 put the final nail in Trump’s political coffin. Only the most deranged and loyal sycophants are unable to see it.

You surely don't mean cheating? No, not you, Dan!

Mark Zuckerberg says he will not spend $400 million on stuffed drop boxes as he did on the 2020 election. Chapter 7, Zuckerberg Should be in Jail is good reading in Rigged by Mollie Hemingway. A Republican may have a far better chance of winning in 2024. Anyone who's slept through a course in arithmetic knows Brandon is illegitimate. Even with the US avg. IQ at a paltry 97.7, there"s not an all-time record 81 million of us stupid enough to vote for this disaster.

Trump is the one that has divided the country? Trump has been attacked from the very first day he announced he was running for President by Democrats and many in the Republican Party. IMO he has handled those unprecedented attacks far better than any politician out there. Yes he has gone a little overboard with his words but that is to be expected with the aggressive dishonest attacks against him.
IMO opinion the divide started with Obama and has only accelerated with Democrats pushing the divide.

Trump replaced Sarah Palin as the most attacked politician ever by MSM.

The majority here gets it. This is not classucal mechanics. Our elections are always held on Election Day. 'Til 2020. Trump won.
I hate to hear myself say this, it makes me sound like a Democrat. If you’re so sure the Biden team cheated to win take your evidence to a court of law and prove it. If it’s as cut and dried as you’ve convinced yourself it is why haven’t you done it?

go ahead and think of a president who has faced more mickey mouse “investigations” and “indictments”

while the sitting “president” has millions of unaccountable dollars stuffing his coffers

wake up dan
America ain’t what you think it is

that ain’t what i believe
them is facts

What do you mean?

Just exactly what did it take?

And what is it exactly that you "don't like any better"?

Trump won in 2016 for two main reasons. First, he was running against a candidate who was more disgusting and repulsive than him. Second, his whole campaign was built around fomenting anger and hate against anyone that did not kiss his ring. In 2020 Biden was not seen the same way as Hillary. Trump was not able to change tactics. He leads by instilling hatred and division in his followers. He discovered he didn’t have as many of that kind of follower as he thought.

Trump has faced more backlash than any politician in my memory. The overwhelming majority of the backlash is undeserved. IMO what the Democrats are doing to him is criminal. But it is also effective when it comes to his electability. He can’t win in the general. That’s a fact. Maybe it’s unfair. Life is often unfair. Why would Republicans feed their death wish by nominating someone they know can’t win?

The sitting president is as corrupt a politician as there is. He should be in prison, not the White House. Why would the Republicans assure he’ll stay in the White House by nominating the only person that can’t beat him? It defies logic.

America is exactly what I think it is: a dysfunctional society that is being torn to shreds by people only want power and control.

What I mean is by all appearances the Democrats took any measure they could to assure a Biden victory. They went right up to the line of cheating, probably crossed the line. Why hasn’t the cheating been proven in court?
