Just so I know in advance, is the position of most posters going to be:

A. (the "standard" for 20+ yrs here now): Celebrity's opinions are like a-holes they all stink and should be disregarded?; or

B. What Kanye and Rosanne say is very enlightening and should be taken seriously and given great deference?

BTW, my opinion in 2006 (in response to Kanye's "George W Bush hates black people" comments) - Kanye is a freaking idiot.

My opinion in 2018 (in response to Kanye's "Blacks chose slavery" comments) - Kanye is a freaking idiot.

But again, I'm just trying to get handle on how celebrity opinions are to be viewed, kinda confused how things on here are now 180 degrees from the traditional view as professed by so many posters.

celebrity opinions on "politics" are worthless (with exceptions like James Woods who is a pretty brilliant analyst, IMO).

here's the thing though. What are Kanye and Rosanne saying, exactly? What is so political about free thought?

Also, you damn well know better re: his comment about slavery. you are better than that.

I would follow Candace Owens. Here’s a video of her if you haven’t seen her.

She’s a rare talent (you can’t deny that), getting more effective (thick skin is required) and promoting a message that hasn’t been heard much in popular culture.

That in itself is a big deal — things and ideas that are truly new and fresh are increasingly rare now days — so people are listening intently.

And she’s starting dialogues with popular personas. Who truly knows what will happen with her, but she’s definitely worth keeping an eye on.

Really, how much "daylight" is between his quote (verbatim) "When you hear about slavery for 400 years ... For 400 years? That sounds like a choice." and my synopsis: "Blacks chose slavery."

Am I missing something here or do they both convey a near identical message?

You know you are, and I’m not going to participate in insulting your intelligence by explaining it to you.

To me the issue isn't what their opinions are but that they are speaking counter to the accepted norm for their demographic and people are losing their crap because they dare not follow lock step with what they are supposed to think.

Or what Maxine Waters calls "talks out of turn" and "sometimes needs some assistance in helping him (sic) to formulate some of his thoughts."

She’s one attractive woman, that’s for sure.

I only care about celebrities that agree with me because they have taken on the most vile group of dirtbags in the world. Rich liberal Hollywood elites.

Don't have a blanket opinion really. Does it matter to me that Kanye likes Trump and Alyssa Milano hates Trump, nope. Now there are some celebrities that I do think are fairly well versed in their opinion and I at the very least will give a listen too but hardly sway my opinion. Baldwin comes to mind, I don't agree with him on most things but I do think he's well read. What Celebrities think really don't do much for me. I do find all this Kanye stuff funny. He can't just have a different opinion than mainstream Hollywood, he must be ill and in need of mental health care. I have found that narrative funny.

+Scott Adam's

But I guess he's not really a celebrity.

You skimmed some headlines or read from a few sources that confirm your biases.

I know this because you sound 100% ignorant as fuk.
